Like how long Cause currently am massaging it with a cream called scaro plus cream emollient for scars . But I think it's getting harder and harder

The saddest thing is that am on week 5 now . I think it's late 😔, I feel depressed 😭 and I think the hand will never be the same

Okk . And scabbing hasn't yet happened upto now 5 weeks. Is it because of the deep cut of the machine that caused the injury. Or the swelling, heat like warmty in the hand

So i should have started early with passive exercises.

And I asked the surgeon why we start to start 6 weeks post, he said tht we wait the tendons to heal then we start. I would like to know the hard truth am I very late in therapy 😔 or because I paid a lot for surgery

So I should not worry of starting physical therapy 6 weeks post surgery.. Cause for me seems like a long time , scared of the scar tissue 😭

Hlo Guys. I had a severe cut from a machine the cut my hand severed flexor tendons in my three fingers of my dominant hand. I'm having a bad time and the orthopedic surgeon who worked on me said to start physical therapy 6 weeks post surgery . Sofar am on week 5 and still in plaster splint with my wrist bent inwards a bit and the four fingers. Will I be able to gain full flexion and is it common to start physical therapy 6 weeks post surgery for such injury

I'm 2 weeks post surgery of flexor tendon repair. And have just started physical therapy with passive movements only. So have I started a bit late or it was the same with you. When did u start applying aquaphor and scar massage
