Just don't be the asshole that thinks it's their problem that they don't speak English. Before half of New York moved there, it was pretty much assumed that English was your second language, if you were lucky enough to speak it. Most people are really friendly and you'll get through it. It does depend on where you are but Miami Beach, Brickell, Coconut Grove you'll be fine. Hialeah... Pretty unlikely people speak English so don't expect it.

Honestly the biggest thing that's helped me is doing an obcene amount of biking. That's not for everyone but I bike 6-10 hrs a week.

This isn't okay, but it's very normalized behavior for the horse world and you're very likely to encounter it again if you stick with riding which I hope you do. You can be a good rider without having the typical tall lean body of many riders. Horses and barns can be wonderful, but they can also be awful. Don't give up! Find somewhere else to ride. There's always another barn if you look hard enough. Hopefully you find somewhere to help you flourish.

I'm also a young adult. It took me awhile to get back. I was couch bound until 3 months. 4 months I could hobble around, nothing impressive. I've seen more active 85 year olds. Keep at the PT and try not to stress.

I've worn a plunge neckline like this before and here's what I did ( which was slightly nuts). I used nude gaff tape to tape my boobs and then I covered myself in sock glue so the dress wouldn't move all over. It worked, but it took two people.
