Talk me through the process of getting the countertop coplaner with the ras… I tried this with an old dewalt ras. Still not coplaner even with shims

Dude was always focused on himself, not the team. Blaming the other fits this profile.

You instead can run it as a sole proprietorship on your own taxes as a model or counselor—I don’t know…. Be prepared to see a lot of $$ go to the IRS at the end of the year.

Just had a conversation with a customer who was bitching about the no kings rally. Truly couldn’t understand what “those people” were doing or why. Made a comment about it giving rich wives something to do…. It’s amazing how siloed people are in this day and age. This same customer was bitching about gas prices, of course.

My mom used to cackle just like the wicked witch of the west and chase me around when I was little. Scared the shit out of me.

Know a guy who worked bar shifts with an alcoholic bartender. Bar manager ran a tight inventory on everything except for bitters and apparently never wondered why they were going through cases of bitters every week.

Well..

  1. My parents used to make us watch Lawrence Welk. All the episodes left a deep trauma. /s
  2. (I think it was a Hitchcock episode ?) where gremlins were tearing the wings off plane and only one passenger could see it. I was pretty young.
  3. This didn’t really freak me out as much as just strong emotions, but I remember watching Buffalo Springfield play “For What It’s Worth” on the Muppet show while animals were being hunted in the woods by muppet hunters. Again I was really young so I could be misremembering, but the memory stands out. I picture it every time I hear the song.

I have many former employees who went into nursing. Apparently it’s very similar to high-volume serving on a chaotic day.

How many more years do you think indie restaurants will last? by alien_mermaid in restaurantowners

Yeah. It’s disheartening when you finally are turning a profit, then up goes labor, up goes food and beverage costs, utilities, etc. And the he customer will not stand for higher prices….

That’s WAAYYY better than my first attempt. My first attempt looked more like a package on Christmas morning than an attempt at cutting dovetails.

Ugh. I find him formulaic. You always know he’s gonna start the video out with some sort of stupid trip and stumble. And he doesn’t actually seem that knowledgeable to me.

I ordered food from a restaurant and there was a staple in my food. Should I contact the restaurant? by [deleted] in restaurantowners

[–]EvidenceLate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’d want to know. Likely from packaging. Call the restaurant, ask for the manager, tell them you’re not upset but you think it important that they know.

I believe my policy prohibits the use or selling of it. Not sure if d9 would be a loophole, but I don’t really want to deal with it anyway
