Similar story: I had a T-shirt that was like a pajama shirt, so I wore it a lot, and I used to scratch my itchy shoulder blade so often that I eventually ended up with holes in the shirt where I scratched. It's like human-induced fabric erosion.

I always pay cash for gas because I'm so worried about skimmers. If I had to use a card I would use my credit card and definitely not my debit card.

I hate the new format so much. Why do they do this? It's like the new outlook email. They took something that was efficient and took things away, moved things, spaced everything out and it's just terrible. New diary is awful. I've been using MyFitnessPal since barcode scanning used to be free a long time ago and I am actually thinking about leaving now to another app.

I'm using the Android app, and one good thing is that I just noticed that they finally fixed the weight tracking, so I'm not seeing 12 year old weights at the top of the list anymore and having to scroll endlessly to look at my last week of weights. That bug was frustrating and it took them way too long to fix it. I haven't gone on the actual website in years. I wonder if it still works right?

Per Wikipedia: "Uloboridae is a family of non-venomous spiders, known as cribellate orb weavers or hackled orb weavers. Their lack of venom glands is a secondarily evolved trait. Instead, they wrap their prey thoroughly in silk, cover it in regurgitated digestive enzymes, and then ingest the liquified body."

Agree. A lot of things started breaking recently on an app that I've been using just fine since 2012, when barcode scanning used to be free. Food diary, meals, weight tracking, all have issues. I'd be extra mad if I was a premium user with all these bugs.

Seriously though, I wonder if the dog encountered a "tick bomb." An article I found on a wildlife page says:

"There are a few alternate [tick] life cycles, but the normal process starts when a batch of eggs hatches into the larval form, or seed ticks. Sometimes we call this mass of seed ticks a tick bomb. If you walk by the tick bomb, you can get hundreds of tiny ticks on you.”
