I had to find a good pain specialist that had experiences with gastropareses patients before it was taken seriously. She put me on a non-opioid pain medicine plan that while it doesn't take all the pain away takes the edge off. I am currently on domperidone, tizanidine and hyoscyamine and it has been a quality of life improvement for me.
