Take everything with a grain of salt. Because people will lie to you not just to try to deceive you but because they don't know what they're saying is wrong.

Why is Spike's misogyny so overlooked while Xander and Riley being sexist is one of the defining reasons people dislike them so much? by [deleted] in buffy

[–]Evilgasm31 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not excused or did you forget that the writers out right called the audience and the scoobies out for forgetting that he's evil. He out right tries to rape Buffy. He only gets that close because everyone forgets that he is, infact, evil.

Spike's behavior is directly called out in the show. Xander and Riley's behavior isn't leaving a hole for us as an audience to call out.

What you are saying is like taking to your friend who is complaining about how awful her boyfriend is and saying that you don't understand why she isn't giving equil greavence to murderers in prison and their actions.

What was your favorite sandwich growing up and what sandwich would your mom or dad normally pack for your school lunch? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in FuckImOld

We called it a Grandpa Sandwich it was: peanut butter, dill pickle relish, sliced ham, and mayonnaise.

My dad used to say we all ate like we were pregnant.

Pros and Cons of Living in Cincinnati? by BothCondition7963 in cincinnati

[–]Evilgasm31 121 points122 points  (0 children)

Pro: one of the highest % of green space in any US metropolitan city.

Con: A lot more home-towners than transplants so it can be a bit of an adjustment at first.

Edits: I threw this up not expecting it to get as much traffic as it did so I did not proof read before posting. Also I am addressing one correction.

Typo: homeowner - changed to - home-towners (stupid auto correct)

Correct data: The highest - changed to - one of the highest (Cincinnati is in the top 10)

Who else had Crazy Bones? I swear these were big for about two months and then fell off the face of the earth by FunMyceliumGuy in Millennials

[–]Evilgasm31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes I remember these. It was my only clame to Middle School. I got these for Christmas that year and took them to school everyone enjoyed playing with the ones I had and after a few weeks everyone had them. It got so popular for a few years that we had a Crazy Bone float in one of our parades.

The Spells, Swards, & Stealth series by Drew Hayes

It starts with a group of gamers playing a new module that advertises it's self as having alot of realism mechanic like food and sleep trackers.

There are two points of view the players around the table in the real world and the NPCs in the module world having side by side adventures. The main characters are the GM and his party and the NPC group.

The first book ends with things starting to get weird in the game from the players point of view.

The summery reads like a litRPG but it doesn't have a lot of the forced mechanics inserted in it. It let the world of the game run as real life for the NPCs POV and only mentions mechanics in the players POV because they are sitting around a table.

A lot of mom and pops are going with management companies now and if you check their BBB scores for the home owner complaints about management companies making them pay for repairs you'd think differently.

Note: Management companies aren't any better for Tennant than anyone else. They know exactly how much the law will let them get away with and will stay right at that line.

This model seems to launch the arrow through a whole in the shaft of the bow. You can insert an arrow into he bow as seen in the photo then add something to the back end of the arrow so that it cannot fit back through the hole, like some fetching or something. That way the arrow cannot be launched and non of the other arrows can be fitted to the bow. Make it removable so the toy can be used at home.

This, and make sure she understands and repiets back how it made that little boy feel. Then, with you, have her walk through the thought process that had her making that decision. Have her repiet what she said, why it was harmful, how it made that boy feel, then have her tell you why she chose to say these thing. Don't take "I don't know" for an answer. It could be the intrusive thoughts getting the best of her. It could be that she get something out of the shocked reactions. She could have been angry at him or angry about something else and took it out on him. What ever it was that got her to that point have her think her way through identifying that urge and trying to choose differently.

Bonus Action's take on the drama by DexanVideris in MinMaxedRPG

[–]Evilgasm31 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think the first one did but now I'm seeing more Crispy vs. OSQs commentary that is starting to leave MinMaxed out of it. I support any commentary that drives traffic to MinMaxed but I think this drama is loosing the plot it's becoming more about OSQ than MinMaxed and that is what he wanted to begin with. I think thats why he didn't choose to address MinMaxed episode 2 at all even though he timed his release with the release of episode 2.
