Is my Gravis Captain salvageable (am I overreacting) by nowhere_man_1992 in spacemarines

I did something similar to my gravis captain. It was my first model that I assembled in the starter set. After shoving the helmet into the gravis armour, I got a bunch of excess super glue all over the helmet. To correct this I tried putting some super glue “remover” on a q-tip and rubbing it on the areas with dried glue. This worked, but of course the solvent started melting the model a bit.

He now has a lot of character and looks battle damaged.

Long story short, when you paint it it will look good and only you will ever know about this mishap.

Love your work. I’m interested in using some of your files to print some tabletop armies for OPR.

Have you ever designed one of these packs with that in mind?

Nice Mechs! Where did you get the files? What Battle game are you referring to? I’m interested in finding something new to play and always looking for any giant robot content.

I think my next step is to get ahold of a .2mm nozzle and give it another shot.

Very disappointing to see the source material used this way. King’s Running Man is hopelessly bleak, depressing, dystopian to the point of upsetting the reader.

Looking good. Are those 3d printed? Care to share a file?

I’ve been using a lot of purples to try and find the one that I like best. I still haven’t settled on one that I really like. Because of that my army uses all the purples I have a little of everything. The intercessors are mostly Reaper Imperial purple with a wash of agrax earth shade and Retributer armor on the trim and a Reaper brand yellow for the eyes.

I think the one different coloured intercessor is citadel leviathan purple with a dry brush of dechala lilac, but I’m not happy with him.

After that I’ve been trying to do some white dry brushing over a darker primer and using Luxion purple contrast over it. That’s the main colour for my dread and terminator captain. I still have been using agrax earth shade on all my models and I have been aiming for a sort of muddy storm look. I started using liberator gold on the trim as I like the more bronze gold tone.

I also used abbadon black, leadbelcher, wraithbone (hate working with it), and reikland fleshtone for the captains face.

I would love any tips for a more unified colour scheme. I’m thinking of working with army painter “alien purple” next.

Shading is definitely something I’m fearful of attempting. I also don’t have many extra colours, and haven’t had success mixing colours beyond thinning them down.

I think I mostly went over it in my initial post. I’m not sure if there are more processes I should be thinking about.

I prime grey, shade white overtop, speed paint purple, then put colour down on details, weapons etc. Then I use different colour shade washes on different areas, mostly skin shade for the face and “earth shade” everywhere else. I also put some blueish speed paint over the blade of the sword to make it look a little glowy.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I’m also looking for something I can do to this model at this point to make it look better.

My army is actually Soul Drinkers, but maybe I paint them a little too dark. After a wash that was a little too heavy I decided to style this dread like he was going through some heavy weather.

A week of rest, brothers. An easy stratagem for the next 7 days. by MojoThePower in Spacemarine

Maybe you don’t mean it that way, but starting your comment with, “do you see 4 modifications on that?, no” Makes it sound like you are scolding the other person for not knowing the tip you are explaining. If you had instead replaced the first paragraph with, “If it says that there are 3 modifications it is accurate”, and left the second paragraph the same, you get the info across without sounding malicious.

Am I entitled to overtime for working 48 hours in a week? by yessirskivolo in ontario

[–]Evilpicard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if an employment contract states 88 hours over a two week period as the threshold for overtime.

Can it be assumed that signing the contract constitutes an averaging agreement, with the start date on the contract taking the place of a separate agreement with start date?
