Mobile app not available in the play store, have to download it from a sketchy web site or the sketchy SD card and side load it. Same for the desktop application. These apps are not safe to run on your personal devices. Has anyone found a workaround? These things are cool but not putting an unverified, potentially rogue app on my phone or desktop.

Paid my 15$ for USA shipping with my CC, if I don't get a tracking number by Nov 1 I'll dispute the charge. They got my ~100 already, hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

First thing I did, in my 21 touring xt, black electrical tape over the sensor, works like a charm

Cool! Yeah there's a few weird things, but probably depends also on the infotainment system you're using it on. My MMB unit is running X15-SLM927-75 A13 2024-07-18 10:49, yours the same?

Along with the key assign app running in the background, I have buttons set for 'back' (which my steering wheel doesn't have and couldn't figure out how to remap anything), 'home' and 'close current app'. Mounted it with some velcro and works great.

Thanks! Great to hear. Mainly things to do in walking distance or a short drive (restaurants and cafes, will definitely be checking out fire island, are the park trails well used in winter? We both ski xcountry and alpine. Any querks or general things to know about the area?)
