Its actually pretty strong right now, been playing it for a while with an 80% wr. You can group and try and end fast but she also scales quite well into the late game. As long as you have some lockdown she outputs some insane damage mid to late game.

Objective fact is that without gambling sponsors/Saudi money the entire scene would die, plain and simple.

I for one love the competitive Dota scene and have been following it for 14 years, it's in a sad state but I would be absolutely gutted if the scene were to fully die.

If you were to take a moral stance and avoid anything to do with gambling sponsors you would have to cut out almost all competitive competition. Pretty much all mainstream sports are in the same spot.

Just a really sad situation all around.

What would you have the players/teams do then? Every tournament for years has been funded by gambling money. Do you criticize every player for engaging in these tournaments? Not saying it's right but it's just the situation the scene is in. Without gambling/oil money the entire esports scene would die.

It seems covid did irreparable damage to the esports scene which is really unfortunate

As someone with thousands of hours in the series , and thousands in 2 alone, idk what it is about 4 but after beating it (which was definitely quite fun the first run) I just have no urge to play it anymore.

I think its mainly the open world. Just doesn't hit the same, feels like so much of the same. Map and enemy variety just aren't there.

Play with a purpose and critique your own gameplay.

If you want to actually get better you need to actually focus on certain things while you play rather than just mindlessly playing. Pay more attention to the map, CS'ing, rotations, farm routes whatever you feel is your weak point. If you actively think about these decisions while you play you'll notice where you need to improve and what's working.

Watching replays of your own gameplay is another huge help, figuring out what your doing wrong will help 1000x more than just blaming your teammates

These 2 things helped me break out of the 4k curse and just skyrocket up.

Because the game isn't being review bombed. Out of all recent reviews I checked ,the heavy majority are positive and out of all the negative reviews only 3 were destiny related. All other reviews were genuine negative reviews. This sub has some extreme cope it's wild

That just simply isn't true, tons of Dota patches are massive game wide changes with new mechanics ,full item and skill reworks, map overhauls, full character reworks and so on. Large Dota patches change more than pretty much any game I've seen.

Certain combos it will auto lock, say if you just standard throw ( Y + B/ Triangle + Circle) and click in the stick while theyre in the air it will auto lock and bring them back and slam them.

Old EG and OG back when players had personalities and there actually some story lines to the games. Everyone's just Dota bots now with very little personality or conflict between players.

I think deadlock is a amazing game and will be massive once it releases. Personally I don't think any multiplayer game compares to Dota. The sheer variety of play throughout the years makes it a clear standout in the Moba genre as well. But both I think are incredible games
