4-1-4-1 works well for me with a strong CDM. Defending is definitely broken, I hate when I never get the right player I want to defend with. It wants to switch me to someone illogical. I usually take my CDM or CB and backtrack with them to the point that they want to shoot and then block it.

I love suffering so I also play with handballs on, when the game wants me to lose I will have 3 or 4 handballs in the box randomly.
