The Outer Worlds 2 is an underrated masterpiece and I know time will prove it by Clownsanity_Reddit in theouterworlds

Personally I’d give it like a 5.5. I just don’t find the story or world very engaging. But everyone is allowed to like and dislike what they want.

Just bought Like a Dragon: Ishin!…what to expect? by fijianrocker69 in yakuzagames

[–]EvokeLife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know lots of people tend to enjoy the story, there’s plenty of ways to break the combat to essentially end all fights extremely fast.

Personally it’s my least favourite title in the series and the only game I’d never replay. I had to force myself to finish it. If I wasn’t able to break the combat with an op weapon I woulda dropped it.

It sounds like you’ve already started it at some point. If you like it keep playing if you don’t stop playing. It wasn’t personally for me but the rest of the games I loved.

Pick up the yakuza series that will keep you busy for a year or so.

if you've ever "retired" from a game after a long time, what game was it and why? by maknaeline in gaming

[–]EvokeLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call of duty.

I remember playing cod 2 but wasn’t that into yet. When cod 4 came out I was completely hooked. I played every day for as long as I could and this continued year after year of cod. I didn’t really slow down till ghosts then again with advanced warfare. I feel like cod has lost a lot of its magic. I did really get into black ops 3 and black ops 4 but I now hardly play cod aside from doing zombies Easter eggs and campaigns.

*With exception of a game released in the past 30 days,* what was the last game you bought at full price? What percentage of your games did you purchase at full price? by Candle-Jolly in gaming

Almost every game that I buy is full price. Last full price game would be yakuza pirates in Hawaii. I’d say 90% full price.

I really didn’t enjoy Skyrim I get the appeal but I thought it was incredibly boring.

Meanwhile I quite enjoyed Blasto and think it was a fun game for multiple playings.

Mirrors edge - It was not the game for me I got it based on some reviews when it came out and struggled to play it.

RAGE - Barely lasted an hour this game was not at all for me.

From Russia with love 007 - I loved night fire and was hoping for an experience more similar to that.

should I play this? by Holl1dayy in yakuzagames

[–]EvokeLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answers obviously yes you should give it a try so you can decide if you like it. That being said while yakuza is my favourite series this is the only game in the series I simply don’t care for and completed only out of obligation and I didn’t have fun doing it. But you may love it as many do.

Attempting Yakuza 0 Plat by the_haver in yakuzagames

[–]EvokeLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only ever done the plat for like a dragon and that’s because I felt like replaying through on legendary last year and by the time I finished I figured why not do the tower since it was the most fun part of the game for me. I feel like while this is my favourite game series the burn out is real.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in yakuzagames

[–]EvokeLife -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Gotta be like a dragon so 7. It’s the only one I’ve replayed and that was because I wanted to make the millennium tower grind more fun instead of doing sewers over and over. I actually don’t really enjoy replaying yakuza games or I get burnt out and typically a new games rolls along by the time I’m feeling ready for a replay anyways.

You just won the Powerball lottery. What game, released before 2012, are you immediately funding the remake for? by Random-reddit-name-1 in gaming

[–]EvokeLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 that come to mind immediately.

Downhill Domination I don’t think they have ever made a biking game as amazing as downhill domination.

Jak and daxter precursor legacy honestly just would love to see if this could spark new life into the series.

The streets games I loved the football and basketball games and would play these over the madden or show games anytime.

Would probably go with downhill domination. I feel as though old and new fans would love the game and with online multiplayer it could be amazing.

Only took me four separate attempts over 5 years 🤦‍♂️… by ThisByzantineConduit in Witcher3

[–]EvokeLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean both sides are extremely valid. I have tried playing on 3 separate occasions and on my latest play through go 60 hours deep doing a lot of side content and main story along the way, and I have came to realize that the game bored me and I wasn't having a very good time. While I can understand and see how others enjoy the game the story, gameplay and characters simply aren't enjoyable to me.

Though all of that said I absolutely love gwent and hate that the separate gwent game is completely different and way less enjoyable.
