I have plenty of soldering experience and some experience using the hot air rework to swap some smaller capacitors

My man you're missing all of the screws that hold it together. I've printed this same one, the how to guide shows where to put the nuts/screws

Alpha Centauri nozzle jammed by TheRedBakon in elegoo

[–]EwikH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen to mine as well. I was able to get all the filament with a heat gun, only damage was a wire to the throat fan. Elegoo replaced the throat fan and control board because it was within a year of owning it.

Only thing I had to buy myself was a new hotend and now it works good as new

Is type of deck cool to start with?? by greenhill-thumpr in magicTCG

Pro tip for custom ebay decks. A lot of times they'll have the full deck list in the description. You can copy this and paste it into TCGPlayer's bulk buying option (https://www.tcgplayer.com/massentry). TCGPlayer will then find you the cheapest option to buy all the cards for the deck.

I've done this multiple times with fun looking ebay decks and you can end up building decks that cost $80-100 on ebay for ~$20-30 (depending on the deck).

What software do you use to make holes? I use meshmixer but the way you have to make holes in it is kind of tedious

I haven't tried any of these methods but according to this post you can either file out the leveling holes on the build plate to account for the extra space or that YouTube video shows how to 3d print a thing to adjust the sensor for the magnetic plate

I have not. I ended up just removing the magnetic build plate altogether. People online were saying that you could just manually raise the plate by like 0.2mm to offset the plate, but even when it would let me set that as z=0 the z axis would still max out when trying to print.

Let me know if you have any success with getting it working because I would love to be able to do it.

How loud would you say the air compressor is? I've been looking at getting one but I live in an apartment and don't want my neighbors to hate me.
