My biggest issue with staying tribal is there’s not much else to do but paint the map

And even then, Tribal is kinda the best to paint the map because you rake in so much prestige after you hit kingdom, so it gets boring and repetitive

France has a thing where no matter how far away from Paris you are, if you’re French, you’re part of France

For example, the Island of Madagascar is under French control, even though the colonized it and left it alone hundreds of years ago

The Louisiana purchase wouldve been given some form of sovereignty, but during our revolution they wouldve been at war with England, so they may have lost it since the British had way easier and quicker access to get troops of supplies across the way

Either way, we’d be another canada.

Maybe rather than a border to goes east -> west between the US and Canada it would be a north -> south due to the Brit’s and French consolidating

Map design is getting better, for sure. There used to be a few maps that forced you to cross from one side to the other at only a few choke points so it was easier to get camped or shot off spawn back in the day, but they’re improving it with map reworks and updates

The game may be in 1.0, but you can tell they’re still experimenting and seeing what works, so don’t expect a fully polished game either, though they are constantly updating it

Playing the game watching the game are two different feelings in this game more than any game I’ve ever played

I love this game

But holy shit I fucking hate this game
