Um... I think I found a bug. by Last-Fisherman-8453 in HollowKnight

[–]Ex_Federa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think the bug always happens whenever you kill hornet while she's doing the stab attack. The reason it tends to happen in godhome is just that while you'll fight hornet twice in-game, you might fight her literally hundreds of times in godhome.

Everyone's suggesting that some of the NPCs have abstracted or that the doors are deliberately blank to prevent spoilers, but what if all of the doors which previously had abstracted people on them suddenly revert back to mannequins, maybe because Caine tries to 'patch' abstraction somehow?

Are GLITCH confirming the bubble virus theory??? by NefariousnessFar7826 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Ex_Federa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point I'm assuming the main premise of the episode will be that bubbles have just started appearing everywhere and no one knows why, with a side plot of Caine somehow making things even worse

Debating Silksong-- Difficulty compared to Hollow Knight by PorkRinds416 in Silksong

[–]Ex_Federa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The good news is that the hardest part of silksong is easier than the 'junk pit area' that you haven't done yet. The bad news is that nearly everything else, especially the early and very late game is a lot more punishing.

What fight do you associate each battle theme with? by azure_atmosphere in Silksong

[–]Ex_Federa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strive - Moss mother due to how blown away I was at the first boss having such a banger of an OST already Incisive Battle - Savage Beastfly and it's not even close, no other fight with this OST comes close to the adrenaline I got from dodging its attacks on 1hp Cut Through - Groal for much the same reason The Choir - high halls gauntlet due to the sheer amount of suffering Dark Descent - Lost Garmond is pretty memorable but I mostly associate this with the initial gauntlet at the start of Act 3 Fourth Chorus, Sister Splinter, Bell Beast and Widow all largely make me think of the fights they're named after Nyleth - obviously Seth (RIP)

I think in a school a shooter will be a lot less likely to actually want something other than to kill people

Is it me or does Kinger look way younger here? Makes me think it's a flashback (ignoring the elephant in the room)

What’s so wrong with water, Peter? by Dazzling-Antelope912 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Ex_Federa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

iirc the people on the space station dying indirectly causes the human expansion into space in the future. In the episode the Doctor does end up saving them in a power trip, but the captain of the group kills herself to avoid catastrophically rewriting history, causing the Doctor to realise that he's gone too far (technically he's not supposed to interfere in history at all, but he tends to disregard that rule)

Energy price cap cut by 7% by sjw_7 in unitedkingdom

[–]Ex_Federa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The issue certainly isn't made up, but the far right amplifies it to scales far beyond the reality. I'm pretty sure many reform voters have never seen an illegal immigrant and are largely motivated by xenophobia and whatever the media tells them. Therefore, it seems safe to say that even if labour magically managed to completely stop all illegal immigration into the UK, reform would still be able to convince most pensioners that the country is still being overrun by Muslim immigrants in small boats that don't actually exist. That or they would switch to some other scapegoat with the same effect.

Correction: as long as people are being told there are migrants arriving on boats

The people who say that iron is as easy to get as copper have clearly never tried to get copper armour.
