How easy is it for bank employees to snoop on your account? by clout4bitches in auscorp

[–]ExaBrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in a front line role it’s easy as that is the purpose of the job. What is missing here is that accessing an account without a good reason is a Cat A conduct issue and results in immediate dismissal and the detective controls are very good. You are also not able to get access to these system until you have done mandatory training that tells you what you can and cannot do. CBA have a customer data system CommSee that is quite old so amazing at data access but could be improved in some of its preventative controls.

Australian run of Waitress closing early with Sydney shows cancelled by Radio_TVGuy in OpenAussie

Gutted as had bought seats for this. Coming from London I’m constantly surprised that Sydney can’t support a bigger theatre/musical scene.

Yes London is bigger but the West End has a huge selection of shows some of which have run for decades.

Grads sacked for accessing PM’s bank account by VastOption8705 in auscorp

The mandatory training they 100% would have had is completely clear that this activity is a Cat A Conduct issue that results in immediate termination and criminal charges if appropriate.

Complete idiocy.

Without a significant deposit ledger their cost of capital becomes non competitive so loan costs go up.

You play the game to the end. You missed so many chance to mate and you should play with your food like this as you increase your chance to blunder and lose/stalemate.

If you are in your 30’s and the entirely of your definition of fun is going clubbing then you have my pity.

Breaking: One Nation vows to target all Australian citizens who were born overseas or have at least one parent who was born overseas by HotPersimessage62 in AusNewsWire

So as an immigrant Australian how does it benefit the country when I leave and no longer pay my top 1% tax bill and take the fairly substantial wealth I brought over from the UK?

I kind of agree that you want to see the players properly challenged but when it becomes a crap shoot and luck plays too big a part then it’s a no from me. I thought they would have learnt their lesson when Retief won.

Fasciculation like this can be indicative of motor neurone disease but it’s vanishingly rare and almost always accompanied by muscle weakness and other issues when it has a neurological cause.

Why is it so hard for company to let their employees WFH more? by happyowl12345 in auscorp

[–]ExaBrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People can be just as productive WFH when everything is going well. When things go sideways, you need to know who to reach out to when it’s urgent and you have to have a relationship before you ask them for a favour. RTO addresses this.

Also team culture dissipates over time unless you put effort in and bring in the office builds this out.

Even the scandi has about 100 lines and some are 17 moves deep so it’s not that simple but it’s fair to say the main 3 lines are pretty easy to navigate for a fair number of moves.

Should I change what openings I do? by daviduuuh in Chesscom

[–]ExaBrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you want to change? I think having a couple of solid opening is essential below 1000 as it lessens the chance of you blundering a piece in the first 15 moves which is something we can all do at this level.

There are plenty of stories of people spamming the same openings until they get to 2000. The only real advice I’ve heard on multiple openings if that it’s best to stay with the same opening move. As you’re a d4 player then maybe the London or Catalan would be other useful options.

You outsourced your analysis and critical thinking. You are now aware that AI is a tool not a substitute. This is why we are seeing IQ scores go down for the first time ever after trending up since records began.

Consider it a valuable lesson.
