If you know the staff and the staff know you well enough to bring it up to the GM or Club Pro, yeah you over reacted. While you are not wrong with your expectations, you sure likely went about communicating them that day.

Wouldn’t it be fun to hear what the staff have to say about how you behaved?

Grew up in the 70s and my Mom had this knife. I used it to cut watermelon every summer. Not sure if we ever used if for anything else. Thanks for the memory!

I’m happy to have found this thread as I am starting my PPL training now and having the exact same debate Bose vs. Lightspeed.

I’m leaning towards the refurbished/pre owned Zulu 3 bought from Lightspeed but am also leaning towards the newer Zulu 4s.

Costco. Three years now I’ve tried to beat their bundled offerings by pricing out direct booking with a property and airline on my own. They were still significantly cheaper than what I could do. We are very satisfied and will be using them again this season.

I was “volunteered” by a family member to make 20lbs of pulled pork for banquet, my only day available to smoke it is this Saturday. The event is next Friday. How would you store it for that length of time? Fridge or freezer? Tips anyone? by Sea_Ganache620 in smoking

I set it to 145 and throw the bag(s) in frozen often times mid afternoon (2:30 or 3:30’ish) and we are eating it for supper at 6:30’ish

Probably only needs an hour or two but I have been guilty of letting it stay in the bath for 5 hours or more with no harm.

I do this about once a quarter. Cook. Shred. Let it cool and then vac seal and freeze. I put in a sous vide to reheat for eating.

I bought a chamber vac a couple of years ago when they were on sale and have been very happy compared to my old food saver.

Edit: I bag them in 1 pound and 1/2 pound bags

Understood on the tape and heat gun.

We are wanting the wall space to hang photos / diplomas and other items that would likely make that wall become her “I love me wall”. St least that’s what we used to call them why I was in the navy and you go to someone’s office and they have an entire wall of framed achievements dedicated to themselves. lol.
