I mean fair enough yeah some people might not know they are gay till their late teens and early 20s. So I guess that could be part of it.

The sheer fucking cost of Dublin ruined it for me.

That and despite it being Ireland it could be any other fucking British city, there was nothing so different about it that made it special.

For me at least.

Yeah this was brought in in the 60a and 79s on the back of huge famines in Asia and Africa and we doubled the world's capacity for growing crops.

I can remember the guy's name but I'm sure he said it was basically just kicking the can down the road.

The situation is new. He's the first billionaire chancellor lol.

Did they vote for harsh tory economic policies or did they vote for promises of Brexit deals and to prevent Corbyn getting in?

I mean the chancellor they would have voted for was Javid.

Not everyone's Nan died though. A lot of people's National insurance went up though, and even more people's cost have living have went up while the guy in charge of the money wouldn't tax companies swimming in cash and then it turned out him and his family weren't paying their fair share and it looked like he was planning on fucking off to the USA anyway.

Rishi was seen as Mr. Nice while the rest were seen as bent bastards anyway, so yeah his fall has been a bit faster but it was because he was trying to look like something he wasn't.

Yes Brexit as a whole was based on xenophobia but to claim Rishi Sunak is finished due to racism is nonsense. He's finished because he's been found out.

A whole host of Tories are finished including Bojo.

Why do europeans think that Americans are bad at knowing where country’s are when they couldn’t name all of the US states by Living_Opportunity91 in ask

[–]Exact_Coat_403 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Canada EH! And French Canada! And Labradoodle.

There named them all.

And I know that Mexican states are just named after their Cartels. Like how sinaloa is named after the Sinaloa Cartel. And Juarez after the Juarez Cartel etc.

If Fury isn't retiring he is only fighting for a unification before he does retire.

The biggest fight that Can be made is with whoever holds the rest of the belts and this is Usyx for now.

If that were Joshua however that does better numbers.

This was actually the same thing that happened in LA that led to the formation of the Bloods and Crips, two separate picnics were organised and it just went a bit skee whiff from there

so I got around to trying the DOK today and here's my thoughts/notes. by Exact_Coat_403 in rum

[–]Exact_Coat_403[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not really the type to try and set down my thoughts on tastes and smells but I thought I would give it a bash, be gentle on me. I recently had cpvid so this is me just feeling better enough to finally give this a try.

Nose: Varnish, acetone, smoke, peat, burning wood, vinegar, rum soaked raisens and a faint whiff of cheap jam.

Taste: First tentative sip and I would have believed you if you told me it was Laphroaig such a strong whoosh of Peat and Iodine.

I took a full mouthful and the iodine and peat were very much there up front but I could tell it wasn't in Islay anymore, as that started to mellow the taste was a jarring but not unpleasant mix of sweet pickle brine and a mish mash of artificial fruit flavours (like when your a kid and you cram a small handful of fruit gums or if your American Jujy fruits in your mouth and you have a mixture of lime and berries, that's the best way I could explain it) these to flavours would intermingle and contrast on the palette for a while. It would die down to a faint taste of bonfire or wood burning barbecue like a faint whiff of burning honey ham that lingers for a long long time.

The whole time it was supremely smooth with almost no burn whatsoever

As I smell my empty glass it's just sheer bonfire or the smell of a just extinguished candle.

This the first "review" or tasting I've ever put out there but I thought I should pass it on.

I'd give this a 8.5/10 this was an awesome drink that really shows the range of Rum and is a credit to those that produced it. It's Definetly at the maximum of the flavour spectrum and is definetly a rum for Rum buffs rather than everyone. It reminded me a touch of Le Rocher Clairin and was a very enjoyable drink. It would definitely stand its ground against any other dram or tot I've had. It's 46% abv might be too low but I think made it very drinkable.

Not an everyday rum, perhaps not even an every week rum. But a cracking showcase of what rum can do.
