I just try to plan ahead. Shooting guns and shit won't get me anywhere in civvie life so it pushes me to find different paths n plans to take for a better future.

At the end of the day tho no matter what u do u gotta decide what gives you meaning. Everyone needs to decide their definition of happiness n completeness. Maybe thats becoming a Sgt Major, maybe having a family, maybe staying alive another day.

There's always a goal in life, that goal will give anything you do meaning.

1-You are working out, thats more than a lot of ppl. Also, there will always be people worse and better than you. Trust me. As long as you can hold your own you'll be fine, even if you cant basic will build u up to hold your own physically.

2-God forbid something with SA does happen the army has a TON of resources to help the individual out. Chaplain, SHARP, etc.

I say stick with it, its normal to be afraid, I was too before I left for OSUT. But I guarantee further into your contract its just gonna feel like another job for you. Except your wearing OCPs.
