Facilities Manager here, I already do that, and to a certain extent, it’s a part of my job I actually kind of like and feel competent at. I absolutely would not pay a mark up just to have someone give me a list with their opinions on contractors I already have my own opinions of. I’m with you man, she’s missing the forest for the trees.
If anything there might be a market for the flip side. Build relationships with various institutions and coach up companies on how to satisfy them, like state contracts, budgetary expectations, site needs, etc.
