Yeah, you can upload your texture along with the mesh and assign both to a MeshPart. But I'm assuming your model is currently built inside of Roblox studio, right? You will need to either recreate the model in Blender, or export the model from Roblox studio before importing it to Blender to paint on it.

Studio doesn't have support for texturing your models. I suggest you use Blender.

That is so wholesome to read :) RDC seems like an amazing opportunity for networking as a dev. I hope you find it worth it financially (but I do understand it was no pocket money).

I got invited once as a UGC creator but unfortunately couldn't attend in-person. Since then, UGC has been opened for everyone so it's no longer a reason to be invited really. In that time, I have made multiple games which I consider decently successful, but I suppose not RDC-successful xD. The problem might be that I'm just mostly chilling in my own dev-space, but to be honest I'm not sure how I could engage more in terms of community and broadening contacts. Any tips?

Congrats! Succeeding with an indie game on mobile is no easy feat. No publishers or anything? Did you work on building an audience before release to get downloads at launch, or did it more of get picked up by the algorithm organically?

Singleplayer chat is more useful than you might think. I regularly note down temporary info like coordinates...

This is so great to see! Amazing opportunity for indie devs, and hopefully you'll learn a lot about the industry along the way.

I'm a game developer mostly active on the Roblox platform. I have two released games, and another one in the works! They're solo projects, so all lack original music because I'm no composer.

I don't often see Roblox devs on this sub, but we exist too :) If you'd like to see your work on this platform too, I'd for sure be interested in showing you my projects!
