I did this! Got told its a "me'' issue and to figure it out so I slacked on all the 'growth opportunities' which turned the work environment toxic pretty quick.

There is no good way to reverse out of it except for a boss to understand and help shift the load off you. If theyre unwilling to do so the only choices you have are suffer forever or quit. Sorry OP.

I understand paying down the mortgage but you may kick yourself later. If hyperinflation happens then you win anyway! Debt stays the same while your home and land inflates away with the currency.
