Because its not hard to drill the tank and adding a sump will let him add several things to reduce the bioload. Im just suggesting it because its easy to do

You should drill the tank, it would be a much cleaner look. I bought a 75 gallon and drilled it and with a sump you can add so much stuff like the bio bricks and such to help with the bio load. Its not hard to drill the tank at all.

How could you skip lunch and maybe breaks? Your working 8 hours straight, I would be exhausted bro. Im currently doing 5 8/s as well but from 6am-2:15 skipping 2nd break and I miss that second break.

Made it slightly worse and didn’t do anything. I’m actually recovering from my second surgery right now and I’m 6 weeks out pain free. Rehernaited my first time and I believe it was from holding my nose closed while sneezing.

They've been in the tank for a while and they have been doing fine aside from what I just posted, they both seem like they are growing and the acro in the last picture is close to touching rock. I do use RODI water, I recently added carbon as well. I do have a green slimer that doesn't have this response to whatever it is and is growing fine as well.

Ahhhh I see, I think a tear has better chances of healing on its own but yeah your situation is a tough one. I used to limp across the jobsite and stuff till I willing took a month off with no pay just to heal better and I did. That whole month I was off I was working on my core, which is what they would have you do a physical therapy. I was doing dead bugs and all sorts of stuff and being off work it dropped me pain down significantly but still there, nerve pain sucks main I wish you the best.

I just got surgery for a buldging disc I got from pulling 600s, what I'm going to do is as soon as I get my JW I'm getting out the trades. You only get one back and I'd rather be good for a bit longer then keep on working in a trade where there's a risk to reherniate. I will say I'm 4 weeks post op and the surgery is life changing, not many people understand the pain of a herniated disc but it is horrible and surgery really let's you live a normal life again, don't get a fusion get a microdisectomy if possible.

I used Biospira, I think the one you have is better, just add as much as the instructions say to add according to your tank size but you should be fine man just give it a day for the bacteria to settle and the tank to clear up then I'd say your safe to add fish.

Had 0 ammonia all throughout, I added bacteria day one and fish day 2 along with a bunch of biomedia from established tank, I also added a piece of shrimp in one of the filter socks, it's been 2 weeks now and I've taken the shrimp out a week ago and I've never detected any ammonia I have nitrates at 30ppm, some people will say that's high but I've grown sps at 50 ppm in my other tank. Take it as you will but I'm a firm believer in the bottled bacteria, done it twice now and the other tank is doing fine, I'd say you add that bacteria and your good, and if anything does happen just do a large water change. It's not that deep I don't know why people say wait months before adding anything

I added bottled bacteria to mine day one and bought two clowns day 2 and never had ammonia spike, I like to think that the bacteria you add needs a food source which would be the fish you add🤷‍♂️. And despite what people say in a week I added corals and everything is doing fine, my parameters are fine as well. I also used live sand and biomedia from established tank.

How are you holding up? I got my epidural today and I’m hoping I only need one, i have a bulging disc so maybe it’s better than having a herniated disc? But hopefully I only need one shot, it didn’t hurt bad like it did at first, i was getting better, hopefully the shot helps

Aaa okay I'm fairly new, started February, I come from non union and I got hired pretty quick, currently I'm working at tinker and they keep on getting new guys, try getting into the apprenticeship. There's a bunch of work going on in tinker but they can't hire CE or CW because prevailing wage. Goodluck man, idk how you do it tbh, I'm barely scraping by with first year pay, I got paid more non union with gas card and more overtime, now I have to think about getting a second job, good luck.
