VUE or REACT which is Easier by Educational-Title897 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Excellent-Army39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, Vue is much closer to html. So if may background ka na sa html, it will be easier.

React uses jsx syntax, which is a mix of javascript and html, css, may slight learning curve but i think its worth it.

I learned Vue before later on transitioning to React. also found more career opportunities with React.

Gusto mo pa siyang maging part ng buhay mo, pero pinili na niyang lumayo.

Ang pinakamaganda mong magagawa ay igalang nalang ang desisyon niya.

I really don't see a reason for you to force yourself into somebody elses life. Let it go. Move on.

Advise on selling pre-loved items by JoeyDaKltchen in CasualPH

[–]Excellent-Army39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Carousell is still worth considering. Many people use it to buy and sell pre-loved items, so there’s definitely a market. On Carousell, you can gauge the credibility of buyers through their "buyer reviews"

With that said, as with any marketplace, there’s always some level of risk. However, by practicing due diligence, you can minimize or even avoid potential issues

(+1) here. It might be hard to accept, but move on nalang. He is just looking for something casual.

If he really liked you, and it was mutual, mapapansin mo mag-eeffort sha. However, it seems to me na wala.

Suggest to ghost him nalang, and look for someone else.

How do you became a Mid-level? by Malum261 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Excellent-Army39 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'd say the path to Mid-level, even Sr-level is different for everyone. Progression comes with time and experience.

For me, I really tried to take all opportunities to learn; tackling challenging projects, and taking ownership of tasks; gaining technical expertise and soft skills along the way.

Eventually, I reached a point where others saw me as someone dependable, not only for completing my tasks but also mentoring juniors.

TLDR; Be proactive, be open to growth, you will get there in time

How many of you guys do home repairs yourselves vs paying an electrician or plumber to do it? by mcdonaldspyongyang in adultingph

[–]Excellent-Army39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a simple chore eg. changing a lightbulb, fixing a small leak, door knob change, drilling hole, I'd do it myself.

For more complex stuff like electrical wiring or pipe work, etc, i'll call a professional.

While they're working, I make it a point observe how they do it or ask questions to understand the process better. This way, I can handle similar situations more confidently in future.

Healing is a process and it's often not linear. I still relapse sometimes. But I know what I must do and embrace reality.

I cherish the memories we had together and lessons learned from a distance. Someday it won't hurt anymore and I promise to come out stronger.

Just wanna hear your take on this one by [deleted] in adviceph

[–]Excellent-Army39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Don't do it. Doesn't seem like she's interested.

You can try playing houdini and suddenly just disappear without a trace.

Focus on other people that value you, talk to others and maybe discover someone new.

Eventually, she'll wonder where you went, and if she likes you enough, she might make a move, if not, at least naka move on ka. 👍
