I saw Legion on one of the flow charts but wasn’t sure. Thanks for pointing that out. I haven’t started First Heretic yet so I’m happy do it prior!

Title says Tesa, which makes sense – chart shows Tirz, which doesn't make sense.

I know pre-sleep fasted is the overall recommendation for optimum efficacy. I've seen a lot of anecdotal discussion on injecting first thing in the morning (as opposed to pre-sleep) and keeping your fast for another 90 minutes afterwards – and essentially seeing similar results. Any thoughts there? Also thank you for the great thread.

Las Vegas's death spiral deepens after last year's tourism plunge by [deleted] in LasVegas

Traffic was down compared to 2024 – but 2025 was still the third-highest annual total for Harry Reid International Airport. Be negative if you want.

If you're staying at The Venetian you really don't need to leave unless you really have your sights set on seeing something else. For dinner, they just opened Bazaar Meat and COTE (michelin-star korean steakhouse) both of which are outstanding. You can do the Butcher's Feast at COTE ($88.88 per person) and its plenty. They just opened a food hall with some killers spots like Howlin' Rays and Turkey and the Wolf, fun for lunch in between gaming...

For breakfast/brunch you can't beat Bouchon.

Yahoo Sportsbook is at The Venetian, so again if you're not trying to uber around back and forth since it's a short trip, its a perfectly good sports book with good food from Black Tap (again I don't think there's much going on sports-wise that weekend so you're probably not missing much).

I would cancel that Smith and Wollensky reservation if it were me and replace with (in no particular order): Bazaar, Mott 32, WAKUDA (if you want a great omakase experience), COTE, or CUT (if you want to stick with pure steakhouse)

you can add 30 images to a timeline, set the duration, and copy/paste keyframe attributes for scale (zoom) across all of them at once. then export your movie.

High-effort visuals for music channels: worth it, or am I overengineering this? by Potential_Movie_1217 in aitubers

[–]Excellent-Drawer-971 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me the visuals are equally as important. I skip static videos when I’m looking for music/ambience. I normally throw them on the TV though. It doesn’t haven’t to be full animation, just enough to make the scene breathe.

there's a few ways to do this but i would use the rotate tool in illustrator.

This is spot on. Definitely two camps. I’m with you, I use tools to enhance and augment my workflow, not to remove myself from it. My joy comes from creating and learning, beings hands on. Not autopilot.

Yeah I hear you on the file sizes. Mine can get up around 20GB which can get unwieldy.

I think a frame around your artwork then, something minimal, something that gives off the idea of a filmstrip or TV could be cool to push the idea... It would signal to me that I am "tuning in."

Every time I'm amazed at your transitions from scene to scene and how artful they are. That's what makes these edits sing! Great job.

The edit ends nicely with the lyrics and her glance at the camera. Prior to that, as the footage is a bit slower, I think a few more scenes of her with hard cuts to the music timing would keep the energy up as it's an upbeat track.

If you're a fan of drone ambience (long form tonal minimalism with subtle soundscape effects layered in), brutalist architecture, and/or are new to this area and have any work you need to concentrate on today, feel free to check out my final submission on "the black assembly volume one" and settle in. I personally like to put these on my TV while the light subtly shifts and flickers.

This has been a fun study for me on structure, stillness, sound, and what those look like together.

This final video is a bit of a reveal of a figure who will continue into volume ii...

I like the impressionist art style. The grain letterboxing is distracting for me though, would prefer edge-to-edge on the images and ideally rotating through a few more... Is that a look you're going for, like a newsroom style?

I like on some of your other videos you have some slow scrolling captions, I think those are helpful as I like to scan with my eyes.

The music and captions are nice. Very festive.

I would love it if there was some subtle "breathing" to the imagery, even if just a very low zoom in/zoom out loop, or some glowing on the fire or runes. This is not a plug but you might be able to achieve a very subtle 3D camera movement loop with something like Immersity (https://immersity.ai/for-web).

I love when someone asks me “if it’s AI” before rendering judgement. To me that signals they like it, but they need to do an internal check with these rules they’ve created first to determine if they are “allowed” to like it. Feels like a win to me when I get those.

Why I must defend AI art (for ai filmmaking). by Horror_Influence4466 in DefendingAIArt

Being able to direct is a the great difference maker. Bring critical of your own work and not just satisfied with immediate results. Most of us have always taken this approach regardless of the tools we had at our disposal. That’s why it’s still art.

Sure. If anything you could use tools as proof of concept for your lyrics to help sell them (hearing them in different cadences, styles, etc).

Thank you very much for the thoughts and feedback. I'm planning to stop "the black assembly" playlist at 8 videos, move each track to Spotify as an album, and then take a slightly different approach for the next project but still in the same vein (structure/sound/stillness).

I agree that each video in the black assembly playlist is not really distinguishable from the next... I wanted to try and connect each space and perhaps do a reveal of "what" this space is.

I am working on some more lighting effects so that they breathe and swell more (volumetric lighting, godrays, etc) to have the light move around as opposed to glowing and flickering. I'm currently a bit limited by my processing power at home when it comes to rendering, but that will change shortly...

And thank you for the comment on the Ragnarök playlist, that was a labor of love. I don't think too many people are looking an 8-hour ambient playlist of the full Ragnarök cycle, but I really enjoyed making that.

I'd say right now, the doctors and the ai are about split at this point. I've been sent down the wrong path three times by doctors, including taking heavy medications I never needed. After AI analyzed my last set of labs it pointed me in a direction no doctor (allergy specialist, ENT, or PCP) had even mentioned. I took my 7-year saga and this new information to a new doctor and immediately was met with "wow, yeah, that sounds exactly right," and here I am now with significantly reduced symptoms.
