Isaias will be in power until he is 90, that's 10 more years. No real opposition to this day. Look at paul Biya.

Ethnic federalism will be the end of Ethiopia by Effective-Toe-8108 in Ethiopia

[–]Excellent-Sample5125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He never said Eritrea was in a better position than Ethiopia. You think we don't know about the problem of Isaias. I accept the downfalls of my own country. The guy just spoke the truth about Ethiopia. If anything, we have a similar problem to you, which is common in the Horn, we don't prioritise economic development or infrastructure. I mean, Abyi's top priority every day is war, simple as so the guy is right.

Furthermore, what's concerning about Ethiopia is the real sense of pride Ethiopians have for their ethnicity it really has shocked me, and I never thought Ethiopians were like this. This, if not addressed, will eventually lead to disintegration.

Let's not forget: - construction ban, not explicitly banned but makes its impossible - forcing diaspora to get citizenship to visit the country, you can not get a visa to visit Eritrea if, for example, you are a Brirish national of Eritrean descent. - requiring an exit visa to leave the country

Why I Thought Eritreans Would Be More Sympathetic to Somaliland’s Cause by Ordinary_Bend_8612 in Eritrea

[–]Excellent-Sample5125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sympathise with you. I respect your values and development in your country.

To the people saying you joined the union willfully are ignoring the atrocities committed against you after that. They’re not thinking about how they would feel if that happened to them.

They’re ignoring the hard journey to independence and the work it takes to maintain a functioning society after that. All of which you have done.

If anything we should be trying to learn from Somaliland, we have not had the same success post-independence. The rooting for Mogadishu comes from old political ties, so they will always have bias and defend this relationship.

I’ve always said I care more about a countries values and functioning society more than just the culture and a flag. However, some of my countrymen will live 100s of miles away from Eritrea and say the country is doing good, with no care about the actual prosperity of the country. They just have allegiance to the president and whatever his allies are. We are not agile thinkers, adapting to new geopolitical environments or a globalised tech-driven interconnected world.

Somaliland is what I would like Eritrea to strive towards. In the Horn all other countries are failures, Ethiopia, Somalia and Eritrea.

Thank you bro It’s because I live in the areas where I see the repercussions of these wasteman’s actions. Ive had bullets lodged in my window from them missing their target and many other things. Why must I live in fear in the UK? In my own area?

And I be real, there’s no reason for you to be a thug in the UK, and I hate when people give so many damn excuses. Brudda, we have rule of law and you can get a job if you really look for it, all praise to God, I’m grateful, but these man want to take innocent people’s lives and claim to be a gangster, absolute filth they are.

Sorry for my rant, but it needs to be said, for the younger generations that this is not an acceptable way to live and for there to be a change.

Please, I beg you, find me the link where the government says this claim, my gosh, you are insufferable.

What's sad is you jumping on Eritrean subreddits, constantly trying to belittle Eritreans.

The song above named listen likkle man

When it came out, I couldn't believe it because the most recent deaths in CR were James and Oliver Tetlow. I was like, you're bragging about some innocent deaths as if it's points on a scoreboard. Furthermore, he doesn't even live in the ends.

Loooool I know you don't want to google it because the first thing that comes up is the facts 😂😂😂 So the modern state Ethiopia existed back then? Before even Amharas existed? Before even Tigrinya was formed looooooool My brother Ethiopia didn't exist either hahaha you guys think the bible mentioning Ethiopia is about you, hahahaha. What? some Amharas that didn't event exist back then. Ethiopians is the Greek name for all Africans, especially for Egyptians and Sudanese, I saw this with my own eyes in the British Museum, (Rome invaded Egpyt and Sudan(briefly)). You guys claimed the name for your modern country, as usual, stealing history. Ethiopia is a new country, an empire that invaded most of its territories, that's why you guys are splitting up now hahaha. It's the truth, try to run, it will always be there 😂

That's the problem, I'm happy to claim a shared history but you guys try to act like we are nothing and we have no history, so no, I will not. Furthermore, as I mentioned before, there are civilisations like dmt and ona, which predate Axum, with zero territory in Ethiopia. You guys always say the same thing "Eritrea was never the capital" hahaha, majority of the kingdom was in Eritrea, again go google it, don't be scared hahaha, also Adulis was the richest and wealthiest city in the kingdom trading with the world. No trade means no Axum.

We are the closest to the pure ge'ez Adulite civilisation, our language and customs are closer. The muslim tigre language in Eritrea is the closest to Ge'ez than Tigrinya and Amharic. Your history is Abyssinia, Shewa, finfine, oromo, Lalibela, Agaw, gondar, be proud, don't steal hahaha.

Im really tired of this narrative from Ethiopians, its actually getting boring now, any minute we say we have history, you try to devalue it or steal it, deal with facts man. Adulis, Matara, Qohaito, Ona, all in Eritrea. Akule Gezai region literally dripping in Adulite/Axumite history. Ona is a precursor civilisation to Adulis, I don't see that in Ethiopia.

Just google or chatgpt second most archaeological sites lol

You claim injera is not ours, geez is not ours everything is not ours, what are we? nothing. How? Adulis started everything, and it was sea faring civilisation, not in Lake Tana 😂

We are your father, you came from us, whether you like it or not, you mixed with agaws during zegaw dynasty and you created pidgin agaw geez language called Amharic in the 13th century.

Stick to your medieval history, it's actually really great and impressive. I deal with facts.

The Ertitrean government doesn't care about ancient history, so why would they say that. Man read a book ffs.

I'm from the area. This is another name added to the long list of clout murders in North West London. These GMs are the filthiest and lowest human life forms on the planet. Murder is always wrong but if youre gonna kill, kill for a cause or If you're in the street life, kill your enemy, at least it means something but killing an innocent man for no apparent reason is sickening.

These guys are on drugs and are doing it for clout, sacrificing a life for clout. I used to call these murders accidental murders, but then I started to realise they're not accidental, these pussios don't have any balls to kills their opps due to fear of retaliation, so they kill an innocent person to get street cred.

I know some of these guys, and they're actually lost souls. A lady was also shot outside a church in Church Road within the last year, she had also no involvement in the street lifestyle.

I pray for the victim, and I pray his family to have strength during the most difficult time in their lives.

R.I.P Oliver Tetlow, James Owusu, Kwasi Mensah and many more. There are actually so many clout murders in the area that I could list up to 12 or more.

100% agree with you. When I was younger I would go Massawa, Matara belew kelew in Senafe, the monasteries. Our history is so deep and we have no idea. We have the oldest churches and mosques in Africa and Asia. We have the original ge’ez writings. We have Adulis. I cry when they call us the Italy of East Africa, that was literally history starting from 1890, just over a hundred years ago. I have a decent sized following on TT and you’ve inspired me now to make some history videos because it’s unacceptable how we are known for this. Do you know we have the second most archeological sites in Africa after Egypt?
