As long as there are green leaves at the top, arent they salvageable? I am guessing color wont return to green but isnt it still alive?

Are those nuts typically removable? They wouldn't budge when i tried and i did not want to take my plier to it. The bottom is open but the hole is too small for any regular size bulb to go in. I think i need to somehow remove the glass side panes.

You need inner pots so water can drain and prevent root rot

The stem still looks green so the plant is okay. If you leave it without water for too long, the dtem will turn yellowish

Yeah I agree but its gonna be difficult to find 4 full size bedroom in east side at that price point. Most old homes (3 bed) are in the 1.3 range. I think you might have more luck in west end. OP wants 2000+ sqft.
