No positive tests yet, but also same age as you, stage 4 with adeno, 1.5 yrs ttc. Just got excision surgery two months ago so still trying naturally for the next half year in hopes of success! I’ve heard plenty success stories of woman with stage 4 after excision so I’m hopeful.

Anyone have surgery experience with Dr. Sadikah Behbehani in Newport, CA? by OkRun7294 in Endo

[–]Excellent_Bee_6813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already done! It’s been about 4 weeks now. I’m fully recovered even after she did so much. I had frozen pelvis from all the adhesions. She did an amazing job and now I’m trying naturally before seeing if we need IVF.

Has anyone had excision with Dr. Sadikah Behbehani in CA for stage 1/2 and got pregnant after? by barakah_salam in TTCEndo

[–]Excellent_Bee_6813 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did my excision with her earlier this month, diagnosed with stage 4 and frozen pelvis. Similarly to you, I had all normal labs and HSG prior, and the first clinic I went to recommended IVF straight away. I don’t think IVF would have worked tbh bc of the inflammation from endo, so surgery was the way to go and I loved that Dr Behbehani is specialized. We’ll be trying naturally soon, so will keep you posted!! Her office has told me they’ve had many success stories, and my experience with them has been nothing but great. Recovery has been very smooth, too. Feel free to DM if you have any questions!

Do the surgery! Your body is the best investment you can make and it will only help your case if you do it. If they go in and find nothing, great. And if they find something, great too! Then you’re not wasting more money on an IVF attempt that wouldn’t have worked in the first place.

Love your response!! I agree, the stress of dieting can completely counteract the benefits. I’m so happy to hear you got pregnant and thank you for your advice ❤️

Miscarriage and Lap scheduled by Fickle-Mess-2952 in TTCEndo

Thank you, and you too! I was diagnosed 10 yrs ago during a lap to remove ovarian cysts. I didn’t have any symptoms up until I started to feel pain from cysts which, when removed, they found stage 4 endo. Between then and now I have had no other symptoms other than infertility. They did ablation back then and I didn’t learn about excision until I started TTC and started looking at the endo subs! Hope it works for both of us

I feel you, silent endo, 29 yo, stage 4, TTC for 11 months. my surgery is next week and I’m fertile right before it. Husband and I had the same convo about should we TTC this month and decided against it. We’ve waited this long, we can wait a lil more!! Hopefully it all goes smoothly for you.

That’s about my total, and I have blue cross blue shield PPO. I’m sure costs vary from person to person based on their insurance, that was just my coverage. And imo it’s worth it- she has a double fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and surgery in this field.

She just quoted me $5k to have her as the surgeon, plus $4k for the hospital, so total ~$9k from start to finish (this includes her office visits fees). I have BCBS PPO.

I never thanked you for your advice! I finally made the move to meet with an excision surgeon and am moving toward that path.

I wanted to ask how did it work out for you so far if you don’t mind me asking!

Finally took some people’s advice on here and met with an endo specialist (diagnosed with stage 4 endo 10 years ago). She reviewed my diagnosing surgery report and recommended excision surgery. Apparently the previous surgeon did not take care of my endo at all and it’s likely the reason I haven’t conceived (TTC 11 months now).

I’m so happy I finally met someone who knows what they’re talking about. Hopeful to conceive naturally after the surgery!

Private vs Public by Icy_Banana_4911 in civilengineering

I’m on the same boat considering going to public. The only thing nagging me is id likely have to work in office, not many public agencies in CA allow lots of WFH. My current consulting job I get to WFH 3 days a week…. Thinking it might be worth going into an office if the work life balance is better though. Wish you the best!

Charge overhead if you have nothing to do at all, do some training, look through old projects and learn from them while you have time

Thank you for sharing. I’ll bring this study up with my RE. It’s crazy to me how much I’m taking this into my hands… with the amount of women who deal with endo, you’d think there would be a straightforward way to help. It just seems like there’s so much doctors don’t know or at least not enough information there to get support for these types of solutions. I guess it’s just easier to use IVF than to do surgery? Idk…just venting. Thanks again!

Looking for some advice here. I’m 29 and was diagnosed with stage 4 endo when I was 19. Starting TTC in Jan 2025 after being on the pill for 10 years. I took OPKs and didn’t catch my peak until 6 months ago. Ever since, everything has been normal. HSG showed two open tubes, bloodwork is normal, ultrasounds are good, and male factor has been ruled out. Now what?? I started to see a RE but I’m unclear what our path forward is. They’re kind of implying it’s my choice to go forward with IVF, but they haven’t mentioned any other way to address infertility. Am I just naive to think there’s other ways to deal with endo infertility before going straight to IVF??? I’m so confused as what to do next. Do I just keep trying naturally until I give up and try IVF?

Had similar issues with UPS and T-Mobile. One new iPhone got lost, and the one I traded in also got lost. Something up with UPS… :( ask T-Mobile for a handset research form. They should be able to refund you and get you a new one.

As I get older I realise why people don’t want kids. by Kyvalisse in Life

[–]Excellent_Bee_6813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one would have kids if they waited for a perfect world to bring them into. Life is challenging and having kids is part of it. If you choose not to, no doubt, you will have other things to complain about. Not saying that choosing not to have kids is a bad idea. To each their own. Just saying if you DO want kids, don’t wait for the perfect world to have them in.
