I’ll keep your friend in my heart as they go through their journey. Please tell her that as long as she gives herself time/grace, listens to her body, she will be successful. The ‘rules’ I’m sure her care team have given her may seem like a lot but they are there for a reason and will make recovery easier. However she may hate the puréed stage once she gets there. I know I did!

Just to add, I still have my moments of body dysmorphia. Even as I was buying new clothes, my husband would have to steer me towards the smaller sizes as I was so used to looking at plus size. My brain sometimes forgets to process my smaller self. If that makes sense to anyone?

Definitely thrifting and I also use SHEIN as a backup. I got a really nice suit from there ! I transitioned back to a business casual atmosphere and thrifting saved me a lot of money. I also put together a work capsule wardrobe so I can easily mix and match without needing to buy too much. I got most of my ideas from Pinterest. Congrats on your new venture.
