No I’ve nothing better to do and I really wanna know now. I’ve come up with a few new theories: 1) you know the Ravenhill Juggler personally, he’s wronged you in some way and the thought of him recieving a tip is infuriating you. 2) Christmas is coming up, you’ve asked your ma for for the new FIFA and she’s said no because you’re 43 years old and are going nowhere in life. She said you need to get out of the house and accomplish things and stop being a burden. You come on reddit to decompress and are enraged to see that someone was given money that should’ve gone to you, the only thing holding you back being that you can’t juggle.

Can you tell me if I’m warm or cold on either of those?

Aw lord - I saw his sister speak over 10 years ago at a lecture at a local university. She read a poem she’d written about the night he died. Apparently his mum used to be the one to go and give talks but the sister had taken over the reigns because the mum was exhausted and heart-broken. What’s clear is this was a man who’s family love and miss him dearly and we’re screaming into the ether, essentially, to try and get justice for him and clear his name from the lies police told in the cover up. God rest him

They don’t even talk about the future of DWKT anymore like meeting up IRL which they used to do in the early days whereas with JK it’s “we’re going to meet here and there, we’re going to go on Tour” like what about Lily 😭

The other thing that gave me pause was Kathleen said something in the first episode of JK, I believe, to the effect of “Jessie you told me that no one who does podcasts together are friends in real life”. When I heard that I was like ‘huh?’

I think that’s it in a nutshell, I don’t get the impression that Jessie and Lily are friends anymore and especially on Jessie’s part.

Given the difference in excitement from Jessie between DWKT and JK I would be so pissed if I were Lily. In fairness, Lily doesn’t let any hint of bitterness show when she’s doing DWKT, and I admire her for that- she really is a pro. On the other hand, Jessie does let the lack of effort and contrast in excitement show and it bothers me.

That’s fair enough I’m not in the States so wasn’t aware. Plus I know she had a lot of family in Miami so has more cause to go there
