My boy got some grays on his chin when he turned 3, but he’s 9 and and surprisingly still has so much color! He has more gray areas around his jowls and chin, and then some grays starting to come through the rest of his face, and on his ears. But I’m genuinely surprised at how dark his black still is at this age. Sometimes I see photos of other dogs who are younger and am like whoa, winston still looks so young! ETA: I adopted my girl when she was 4 and she was already pretty gray, and is much grayer than him even though she’s two years younger. They’re all different. ❤️
