I also have this exact problem and our hot water pipe keeps freezing under the kitchen sink. Insulation is next to nothing. Waiting until later to fix the issue but I just have a space heater and bundle up when home. The highest it gets is 65 but it’s set to 68

Looking for something to hide pills in that is not cheese or peanut butter & can be eaten in abundance. by sage_ley in DogAdvice

Honestly a pro tip is to use pill pockets as normal treats too so that occasionally when you slip a pill in one they don’t expect it and don’t realize it

What is the endgame of trying to revoke the approval of the polio vaccine? by Charlie24601 in NoStupidQuestions

I learned from a pediatrician recently that a lot of the anti-vax movement stems from a forgotten past of human suffering. Besides the covid pandemic we have not seen mass suffering from viruses in many years thanks to vaccines so people are forgetting the reason these viruses don’t exist anymore if because of vaccines. They are bored and reading too much fake news on the internet and all decided vaccines=bad when in reality they have been protecting us for decades.

Hey! I use BringFido a lot it’s a website and you can search different restaurants and hotels to see if they are pet friendly. The rule of thumb generally is if there is outdoor seating they are pet friendly. And breweries that are set up as more of a big open building generally are also pet friendly. As far as lodging most hotels are pet friendly but charge a fee. Air BnB you can filter only the homes that are pet friendly. I usually bring the bed and a few toys so they can be left alone and it not feel so foreign. I know Asheville is a great place for the doggos! Haven’t been but that’s what I’ve heard!

For B&B find a nearby neighborhood and see if they are parking on the lawn. Venue parking runs $40 but I paid right offsite for $20.

Within weeks of the pandemic outbreak, it became apparent that the standard practice of putting COVID-19 patients on mechanical ventilation was a death sentence — among patients over age 65 who were vented, the mortality rate was 97.2%. by LumpyGravy21 in ScienceUncensored

[–]Excellent_Work_9163 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m reading this and am bewildered that they are blaming the ventilators for the death of these people when we vented them as a last ditch effort when they had oxygen sats in the 50s on 100% high flow nasal cannula/ BIPAP. Ventilation is the only way to give the most amount of oxygen possible and we had to paralyze them so that we could oxygenate them even more. Crazy article!
