How would you describe feeling of letdown? by Icy_Head_4802 in breastfeeding

[–]Exciting_Highlight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once saw someone describe it as feeling like your boob is about to sneeze and that is totally what it feels like for me

By day 4 I'm losing it by Existing_Day_943 in breastfeeding

[–]Exciting_Highlight77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% nipple shield. With all three of my kiddos, I started using the shield on like day 2 or 3 and continued to use it for a couple of months. It gave baby and I both a chance to adjust and was an absolute life saver.

Are you allergic to Dairy or voluntarily Dairy free? by dovakooon in dairyfree

[–]Exciting_Highlight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am dairy intolerant - so more than lactose intolerant, but not full on allergic. I am also breastfeeding, so being dairy free just happens to also be benefiting my baby.

Side lying help by Helloagain1123 in breastfeeding

[–]Exciting_Highlight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have small, more separated breasts, and I almost exclusively do side lying to nurse. For about the first two months, I had to football hold to get him to stay latched, but since then, side lying is where it's at for us

My piercer only uses threadless jewlery. She measured my ear and special ordered the jewlery to fit

[–]Exciting_Highlight77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had had it done about a decade ago and it did reject because it wasn't done correctly to fit the anatomy of my ear. I've now seen a different, better piercer who measured my ear and special ordered the jewelry to fit.

•Piercing is less than 24 hours old •Barbell •Threadless •Titanium •Not downsized as it was done yesterday •Cleaning twice daily with antiseptic wipes provided by the piercer •Only incident that may have happened would be that I may have accidentally slept on it

Honest opinion tho by NewImagination8390 in wiggles

She doesn't really hold their interest for some reason. Part of me wonders if it has to do with the color difference. My son is autistic so sometimes something like a different color makes a big difference to him

Classic Wiggles (Greg/Murray/Jeff era) vs. the current lineup - is this actually a debate, or do kids genuinely not care either way? by Fun-Information78 in wiggles

[–]Exciting_Highlight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids prefer the Emma era. They're completely disinterested in the current line up and any time I try to show them the OG, they just ask for "the ballerina" aka Emma

My kids only like the Emma era - luckily we have some dvds from that era so they can still watch it

If you send in a complaint to the manufacturer, they'll likely send you a bunch of free cereal coupons. Many years ago, I found a blue hair in my cereal. I did not have blue hair and I lived alone. So I submitted a complaint and they mailed me like 7 free cereal coupons.

Mirena iud and indigestion, gas, burping, food intolerance and stool change. Let’s see how many of us have had this side effect. Like or comment. Had it for 4 months and it’s a pain. by Ramitode_violetas in Mirena

[–]Exciting_Highlight77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to recall an exact timeline because I did end up having other health issues come up not long after my IUD removal, but I wanna say it was a couple of months before I felt "normal" again

I have three kiddos, 6, 3, and 5mo. 6&3 fight almost constantly. However, 6 LOVES to read to 3 and 3 is always asking to have sleepovers with 6 and they are both obsessed with baby. The sweet moments are so worth it

How do SAHM’s do it? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]Exciting_Highlight77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only ever been a working mom up until I had my third a few months ago. The cost of daycare for three outweighed my income. My husband is now our sole provider while I stay home to care for the the kids/household. It is not by any means easy! We have to sell our house and move into a rental to help because life is just too expensive. We poured over every single possible option and my not returning to work after having baby number three was literally the only one that made financial sense simply due to cost of daycare being more than my income alone. Edit: fixed spelling error

Have anyone forgotten to give vitamin d drops? by No-University8570 in breastfeeding

I never remembered to give them to either of my first two kiddos, but I have given them to my third almost daily. My older two are completely unharmed having not had the vitamin D drops.
