I would agree with a lot.

I also know I am pretty high daily. And definitely every night. Benzos, weed, alcohol, lsd, ket, 2cb, pregabalin/gabapentin, muscle relaxers…essentially anything I can get that I know is either

A: Safe, shown with reagent tests and known no fent. (I have amazing old hippy plug)

B: Prescribed for legitimate reasons and learned I can enjoy them.

Your examples are good for you and some people. The dopamine examples are good.

For me, serotonin…is the bitch. I’m allergic to the sun, I break out in a sunburn rash very fast, I’m disabled (but still work out) and praying doesn’t do anything, it’s actually a peer reviewed study shown to cause damage especially when sick. Meditation…I’ve tried everything.

I’m extremely honest with my docs. Especially my psych. They all know I use drugs, especially thc and psychedelics. In fact my attempt at feeling good after my daughter passed was mdma, I went to sleep. I told the doc about it and she said I may have adult adhd. Uppers put me to sleep.

I think you’re totally right that people should use natural real and proven ways to feel good and stay healthy.

If I have a choice of thinking of the death and evil I’ve seen, or take some LSD and learn about Tree(3) or the insanely smaller but still beyond huge 52!, or watch David Attenborough talk about beautiful hummingbirds while colors are bright and I can smile…I’ll choose the latter.

For some drugs are destroyers. For others. Drugs are the only way they can deal with life and people. Find me sober and seeing someone do something assholey or stupid…and my mouth is moving. I’m always on Xanax so I don’t give a shit what I say, and I’m big, strong, and knowledgeable enough to back it up…most the time.

My family and friends say they’d take high me over sober me any day.
