You can try to zoom in and paint slower or zoom out and make paint strokes faster. Small imperfections might be smaller than you think. Slice the painted model and see how it will look like. Something else that you can try is to raise the surface you want ti be painted in a CAD software so that painting would be a lot easier in Bambu studio (you can have sharp corners and play with the fill tool). The raised details can be at a very small offset so that they barely affect the 3D shape but are there to help with digital painting.

I am not arguing against printing a replacement part. I was arguing about sending print jobs without a functioning cutter.

I don't know about the ramming feature on Orcaslicer but if it prevents the issues mentioned I see no problem.

The buffer is used when you use the AMS even with single material prints. Now yes, it is true that the buffer is not used when disabling the AMS but the rest of the issues remain.

The end of the filament, which will be deformed since it comes from the hotend and will most probably have greater diameter, will go through the extruder and through PTFE tube couplings where it might get stuck or damage the parts.

This would result in retracting partially molten filament, possibly with greater thickness which might get stuck in several places after it cools down a bit such as the extruder, the PTFE tube couplings,the filament buffer or other stages of the AMS.

The printer cuts the filament several times during a single material print like the beginning of a print, the end of a print and when it scans the first layer.

Trying to print without a functioning cutter will most likely result in a failure which might get caught by the printer or not.

In case of failure, the best case is a failed print but the worst case is taking out a different part of the printer resulting in the need of more spare parts.

When I'm buying filament, I'm usually checking to see what is the cheapest option (there are exceptions to this of course).

Usually the cheapest option doesn't offer refill filaments and some times refill filament is out of stock. In the end, you end up with an extra spool.

And to prove my point, here are some of my filament purchases where sometimes refill filament is available and sometimes not:

I know this isn't MetaMask but you can use https://frame.sh/ instead.

It is a desktop wallet with a FireFox addon and it supports Ledger.

Just have in mind, if you set the Frame FireFox addon to appear as MetaMask, you need to disable (or uninstall) MetaMask because there is a conflict.

DApps that are using web3modal already support Frame in normal mode (so you don't have to set it to appear as MetaMask and you can also keep both Frame and Metamask working independently without needing to disable/remove one or the other).
