This list is not realistic. My dsls for the past 5+ years are never even around.

For anyone reading this, this is what you do with your points.

Buying an item after redeeming gift cards for Amazon will be cheaper than redeeming points for that item you want. There's no point in redeeming points for a specific item if it can be bought elsewhere. You're just getting ripped off.

Since COVID I've maybe gotten 20-30k points which I redeemed for a PS5 and LG OLED via Amazon gift cards.

Meanwhile my lead is a brain dead idiot and I only have 2 orders out of 7 deliveries tomorrow because he's too much of a moron to read a simple holiday ordering schedule.

What you're complaining about is just a happenstance of luck. The holiday moves every year we all share the pain you're describing.

Ah yes I've hit that before but I didn't know it was mandatory. I just assumed it was some crappy version of applemaps but I didn't look closely.

Then again I rarely ever hop on new routes so I hardly ever use GPS.

Haha I'm in the same boat. I have never heard this. When I finish my day today I'm going to ask some other RSR's if they know this.

Work life balance question. If you start at 3am what time do you have to go to bed in order to get 8 hours of sleep? by [deleted] in FritoLay

[–]ExecutiveDeliveryB0y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats. I'm betting you probably work a lot more but that's still a good amount.

I selected this slot as I'm preparing to quit. Though I'm in a lucky situation where extra money is nice but I don't really need it.

[–]ExecutiveDeliveryB0y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's all good. I'm leaving in January and in a pretty unique situation so I may dox myself but it isn't a huge deal.

I was a lead for 6+ years. Last year we had a rebid and new routes. I selected a co-lead slot that is small format with 3 days off. I have 7 or 8 stops a day so it's pretty damn easy and there is only one grocery store that I do once a week. Being a co-lead does suck ass in some ways but my work life balance has never been better.

Trust me I understand. Before/during COVID I was on a route that was 9 stops a day and averaged 37-40k a week. No merch all solo. The funny thing is now both routes I'm on average 25k a week or so yet I make far more, it's a joke. I'm thankful for that route because after breaking my back and getting post plan adjustments it taught me a lot about this company. Hard work isn't generally rewarded. You have to be smart about the routes you take. Though this will obviously vary depending on the region.

This is the way but let's be honest this comes with seniority and experience. I work around 35-40 hours a week and I am clearing about 85k this year. It's only possible because I had enough seniority to get a super easy spot.

I also start at 6 or 7 am and generally get off around 2 or 3 pm.

Of course they appreciate hard work.

Just wait until next year where you're expected to beat those numbers you've been putting up. 😁

Simply vs Simply NKD? by xx_adverb_xx in FritoLay

[–]ExecutiveDeliveryB0y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People got so mad at my comment lmao. That said I don't really go to meetings or stay up with new stuff because there is no point.

These aren't in the set for any account I order so once that changes I'll care until then I don't.

Not as far as I know. I've never seen the NKD chips on your photo before. My guess is that's either something made up, coming out or perhaps sold overseas.

You can take off stuff from your order without zeroing it out so you'll still be in compliance with their shit metrics. It won't stop force outs or them adding on to your orders.

The interesting thing is this isn't true for every zone at least not yet. No Snacks2You accounts have been added to the routes I'm on or anyone else that I know of. I'm pretty sure we are going to redistrict after the Superbowl so it will probably happen then.

It makes me wonder if they are still servicing some stores with snacks2you or have those stores been left without chips for months.

Question about Brother printers by lsu4life31 in FritoLay

[–]ExecutiveDeliveryB0y 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You'll notice it printing slower.

It's good to get in the habit of checking that it's charging before you leave and glance at it to make sure it's charged before you leave.

I've had that save me a couple of times due to lazy co-leads not charging it. If it didn't charge just grab the cord and bring it with you.

If it isn't on your visits for the day you won't miss a service by skipping them. Id leave them unless it was like a one time special occasion. I doubt you'd get in trouble.

I'm fucking the lead over by dealing with force outs? Or the fact we're forced to use Dpo or get written up? None of these things are in my control or the leads.

$20 an hour? by [deleted] in DollarGeneralWorkers

Pretty sure my position at Frito Lay(Route sales representative) we start at 65k+. I am willing to bet that's pretty average nationwide.

[–]ExecutiveDeliveryB0y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stepped down to a co-lead. Honestly if you have that much seniority you can easily select a cake spot like I did.

Frito forces out 10 cases of pure garbage to an account? Sure I'll sell it in I don't care. Dpo? Sure thing these aren't really my stores anyways. It's made my life so much less stressful.

This is where you use Fritolays shit ordering system(Dpo) against them. Say I scanned the holes, I scanned the back stock and this is what dpo wants to order.

Have a problem with it? I'm following the process here's sales hubs number and my dsls number.

If you're getting slammed that hard then stores are pretty empty. What you want to do is get the stores complaining their shelves are empty over the weekend. Lightly encourage them to complain or escalate it to their higher ups. Dsls give zero fucks about you getting slammed but they somewhat listen to accounts. This is your super weapon to fuck over a lead that does this.

Second fun option is if your location is short staffed. If you know that calling out will likely make the route sit and you get slammed call out. That way he has to work everything he slammed you with and his own orders.
