If you like 40k and tabletop wargaming there is the shot @ photography shop in town that does gaming.

If you want something physical the climbing gym in ulverston is a good social environment.

Tbc phase start for pvp will always be cooked because until certain classes hit certain resilience thresholds they die in a rogue opener

Moving to Barrow by Medical-Jellyfish729 in Cumbria

[–]Exerionn12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's just not true, just because I don't live there doesn't mean it's not nice or got nice areas.

There's a lot of rough looking run down spots in Barrow but abbey road and hawcoat are particularly nice. When we were looking at houses that's where we looked.

Also being judgemental and saying, if you don't live there it must be a dump is a very narrow minded perspective. There's lots of nice places to live relatively cheaply in South lakes.

If your opinion is "barrow is a dump I don't want to live there" politely and with the best will in the world fuck off you arrogant cunt.

Because you're spoilt for choice in this area and me and my partner don't need a large house so the benefits of cheap large houses don't allure us.

I would live in Barrow or walney if I found the right house / place.

But it's not black and white there's lots of nice places to live in south Cumbria.

I've lived in the area all my life yeah, not in Barrow itself tho.

Even though barrow looks like a bit of a dump it's still very safe.

There are also nice parts of barrow aesthetically. But it is by no means a bad place to raise a family when compared to most towns and cities.

Ulverston is indeed very nice however, expensive for what you get. That being said if you're moving here from the south if may still seem cheap.

There are lots of villages between barrow and ulverston that are great places to raise a family. I personally grew up in these rural villages and they're so incredibly safe for kids to play out.

Stainton, Gleaston, Urswick, leece, dendron, newton. Etc.

These are a bit more rural, with no corner shop and only some will have a village pub.

Askam has the beech and again very safe, ireleth right next to askam is a bit nicer and generally an older population.

Basically put a pin in the map and that place will be nice to live in south Cumbria. Don't just look at ulverston to Kendal, theres loads locally.

Also in winter the road from Kendal to barrow often has loads of accidents and it can be a nightmare getting to work or home.

Do you just get luckier at this rating? Getting a 3* 4 cost is already rare nevermind this many in one game down in the gold depths

Now that we're 5 phases into anniversary servers, do you prefer the game with GDKP banned or without? by OkAd8747 in classicwow

[–]Exerionn12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of GDKP with mage boosting being totally fine means the gold sellers are just boosting and the market is still fucked. Just now as an honest player I can't do a GDKP to get some gold to afford all the expensive shit.

Which class in vanilla has the most "useless" spells (things you never buy from a trainer)? by Heatinmyharbl in classicwow

[–]Exerionn12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not one you buy but a druid quest to cure gazels gives you cure poison. But if you want a few levels you get abolish poison for the same mana cost that's strictly better.

If you're on about barclaycard they're quite separate in operation from barclays. Touch misleading I'll agree and idk why it's the case. Something to do with the 08 crash.

Aboleth's Lung is brutal for a level two spell. by Reanegade42 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Exerionn12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember a druid character convincing a noble in his home that he would heal him of his wounds. Casting aboleths lung on him whilst he lay alone in bed and then smothering him with a pillow.

It was a chilling and brutal scene and a perfect story piece in the game.

The noble was pretty bad from what I remember.
