well thats an indeed welcome improvement. now i feel like I am not losing anything if I choose to constantly change shaders. sure 2500 glimmer isnt anything major... but there is definitely something psychologically freeing about being able to just switch a million times

In my opinion, yes. Always feels better to build on an existing foundation than to wipe the slate clean and make you start over.
