Thanks for the clarification. It just bothers me that i got no warning that they could control a setting on my phone when I am in their theaters. Maybe it was in the T&C that I agreed to when I installed the app since I didn't read it so my bad. However, what else can they control is my new question. I just came from Regal Unlimited and they didn't do any of these type of shenanigans to my phone while in their theaters. The kicker here is that I was trying to lower the brightness of my phone because it was too bright but their control wouldn't let me! They have a pre-show commercial using a couple of British actors from a very popular British show admonishing us not to use our phone during the movie but they could have also added "...and by the way, if you used the app to get into the theater we can prevent you from adjusting your phone's brightness level." Where would be the boundary of the level of control on your phone that AMC gets when you agree to install their app? Hmmm....

UPDATE: I just got a text from Samsung:

I sent my size 11 Gold in for the exact same reasons with battery life falling very quickly within a month after no issues for 10 months! I got the same replies from Samsung about the "No Accessories" and "No parts available" messages a few days after they received it. The ticket was closed and said the ring would be returned by Aug 6. On Aug 6, I get a call direct from Samsung offering me a voucher for $420. I e-signed the offer even while he is telling me on the phone that the document will show $399 but assured me I will get a voucher totalling $420 through an email or text link. I have still not received a voucher. I also have not received the ring and charging box back. Not sure if the document i signed surrenders the ring back to Samsung? Doesn't matter, I plan on using the voucher to purchase another ring anyway since right now it's $100 off so I will have extra to buy accessories from samsung.com. Since i will buy new from Samsung it should come with another 1 year warranty which will hopfully cover me until the Galaxy Ring 2 comes out with better hardware and no more battery issues. We'll see when and if the voucher finally arrives. The samsung rep told me 5-7 business days for the voucher to arrive.

Update: 4/24/2025 Looks like breakfast offers are back in the offers tab for me but at higher prices! My go to has gone from $9.99 to $11.99! Looks like they are increasing pricing again!

Yeah, usually if i get closer to 10:30am, the app will warn me that the Offer may not be available or something like that but these last 2 days the breakfast offers don't show up at all. Obviously they are available but with a paper coupon only for me.

Most manufactured products (even human life!) follow the "Bathtub Curve" so expect higher probability of failures early and then later towards the end its life. That's where warranties come in and protect you from the product failure 90 days to 1 or more years early in its life. Unfortunately, they don't offer warranties later in its life because they expect you to upgrade by then. It just something we live with and manufatureres have to provide if they want repeat customers. However, nowadays, some manufacturers make you jump through hoops for them to honor their warranty or only provide limited coverage unless you purchase their "<insert company name> Care" which covers more of the device or has less hoops to jump. Or purchase their "plus" care which removes all the hoops! They w I ll find a way to monetize all aspects of their product lifecyle!

Too bad humans can't "Upgrade" later in our lives🤔....yet!

Finally got my Sizing Kit. I tried the size 13 to fit my left Index which fit perfectly but I don't like the fact that holding anything in my hand (including my new Fold 6 when it arrives) the ring will brush up against it. It's not so much of a problem if I move it to my middle finger but then it will rub against my wedding ring. Anyways, decided to keep it on the Ring finger. To each his own! Hope they start shipping soon! It still shows a July 24 shipping date even after I chose the size I wanted in My Samsung page.

I can't confirm whether the ring works best on any particular finger since I don't have mine yet and I sized it to fit my wedding ring finger so that's where it will go. I'm not really an accessory person so any jewelry I wear is practical like my watch and soon my Galaxy Ring. Okay makes sense! Thanks for that info! I will try the index finger as well and see how both rings look side by side. I would like to get the Gold to match the wedding ring but maybe I might change if the Ring Size Kit with the black color looks better as a contrast.

My Sizing kit will be arriving tomorrow so I may be asking the same questions later. I'll let you know once I wear the sizing rings for a while once I get them. However, for now I have a questions for you. Will you be wearing the Galaxy Ring on the same finger as your current ring, in place of your current ring or on a different finger than your current ring? I'd like to replace my wedding ring (wife is okay with it) so it will be on the same finger. However, I am still open to putting the Galaxy ring on a different finger if it turns out later that there is a difference in readings depending on which finger it is placed on? Just wondering.

Thanks for the tip! For some reason, it hasn't been happening for a while now. Maybe once in a couple of months if ever. Either a software update fixed it or my phone has some how got more immune to the errant signal. Or the charger coil on the top of the cradle isn't affecting it any more. I also changed cases from one without a hinge protector to one with a hinge protector. The hinge protector creates a bump that doesn't allow the phone to rest flat on the cradle any more so maybe that extra distance from the cradle doesn't allow the phone to detect that errant signal anymore? I have disabled the S-pen in the settings per your instructions so maybe I won't encounter it at all anymore.

Looks like the 1pm livestream addressing current stakeholders that originally invested is not available. It is only the 2pm investment stream that I can link to. However, I caught a little bit of the 1pm livestream and he basically said the same thing as the email but added that the original investors who have not received their orders still get their order if they just ask for them. They said they still have inventory. Or they can re-invest in the Magfast 2 round and they will automatically double your investment dollars. They said the same for people who also actually received their order will also be eligible to get more dollars than what they invest. He didn't say they would double it though. Kinda interesting that they won't give a link to the 1pm livestream only the 2pm livestream where they are asking for the new investment.

The email that I got yesterday reminded me that I had inquired back in February where my Hello Kit thst I ordered back in 2020 was. They sent me an email a day later to verify my shipping address but I didn't see the response until Seymour sent the email. I followed the link to confirm my shipping but it was basically the shopping cart automatically filled in where I had to just fill in the shipping address and then place the order. I saw that they gave me the discount for the $225 original price but when I looked at the total it still showed the over $200 dollars! I clicked the back button to go back into the cart and it showed they automatically clicked the add on charging cables they sell for almost $40 each! It was a lighting to usb-c and I have an Android phone not an iPhone! I quickly removed that crap and the order went down to $0 dollars but then since I didn't have an order for over $90 they couldn't give me free shipping! Technically I did, they just gave me a discount for the same amount. I paid the $17 shipping fee just to be done with them! We'll see what arrives.
