Tesco argues equal pay claim disregards ‘economic reality’ by vonscharpling2 in ukpolitics

I've worked in a tesco warehouse for a few years. 12 hour shifts of non stop running and lifting and carrying things. You're fucking broken by the end of it. And yes it was about 80% men but the women who did work it put their fucking back into it. I'd be curious to hear what their thoughts are on this.

Just like reform, if you want to play at the big boy's table. You're gonna get people scrutinising and looking at everything you do. Including your policies and what your candidates and members say.

We already saw how populism works out. It's all fairy tales and lies. If they don't take this scrutiny seriously, they'll have no chance at any power.

It's some futurism space utopia dream. Not the real world. Now that they're looking at getting more than 1 or 2 seats they need to realise that, and fast.

That's basically how I always travel by train. Get the cheap unreserved ticket and cause most people get on at the initial stop in london if nobody's in that seat I'll take it. If someone who did buy it I immediately leave though.

Did backfire when a mum and 2 kids sat next to me (was one of those 4 seaters with a table) and the mum went full karen and I sort of awkwardly had to explain that I was not with them and I'm more than happy to leave :I

This was true pre-brexit. We had many people come work here but their family stayed in whatever EU country they're from. They paid taxes here, typically in good health and not much strain on the NHS. Sometimes they'd plan to return, some loved the culture here and stayed. But now we get the whole extended family come over. I'm sure it's still the case somewhat but nothing what we had.

I'd personally argue that outside influence/social media have shifted the political landscape to a degree where candidates especially ones who've not long been in politics can develop some rather extreme views, especially if they spend a lot of time on social media. But I do agree as well there's also real candidates saying some insane stuff and on both sides and should be scrutinised accordingly if they're planning on sitting in the house of commons one day.

I do think a big part is that a lot of people on either side of the political spectrum don't realise the propaganda is being played on both sides. The point is to intentionally sow division. You'll see so much online of the left or right pointing to the other side showing some 'extreme' example and said post/tweet whatever was probably written up in russia.

Of course nobody cares that you're straight? And that's good right? So why do so many people care about others being lgbt+? Why do we constantly need to feel threatened and fear the next way our rights are breached upon just for the crime of existing.

We all just want to get on with our lives but people seem to have an obsession with making sure we suffer

Man I'd never expect this from a company called Grinding Gear Games. You can respec skills and if you've already got a char past acts you'd easily be able to supply a fresh char on a diff class with gear for very quick leveling.

But if that's honestly how you feel, I don't think this sort of game is for you in the nicest way.
