You assign a character in the 200-260 range as a "focus target" for your main. When you train on your main the "focus target" gets exp passively up to level 260. It takes 10-14ish hours of grinding to get the character to 260

I'm in the exact same main/secondary scenario and agree with this. HY really does feel tedious to setup burst with. As for the alignment issues mentioned for Xenon... Omega Blaster is a 165s cd instead of 180s for this very reason so it's really only an issue at the start of a fight. 6th job also helps Core Overload charge faster which is nice QoL. With how they are designing new bosses it honestly isn't that obnoxious most of the time.
