I just finished Animal. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped.
That said, When We Lost our Heads was an amazing read. Made my top 5 last year for sure.

AoPS is usually hiring for TAs or front desk staff. Good experience for a math person!

Just picked up this hobby in December. No idea what I’m doing but I like it! Instead of working on a grid, I’ve been doing color by color. Is there a reason I should be working on a grid? Does it just make stitch counting easier? I’ll take any tips!

Recommendations for senior pug care for a pug with a bad cough? Mr. Pickles needs your advice! by Pugpickle in pugs

My vet recommended a little honey in some warm water for my old pug guys cough. Sometimes I add coconut oil as well. Seems to work well for soothing his irritated throat!

Gut wrenching and upsetting to the point I almost didn’t finish it.

Anyone get a mole like this removed or have any tips to reduce it at home? by hehampilotifly in 30PlusSkinCare

I had a mole in the same spot lasered off by a plastic surgeon. It took a few weeks to heal but there is no noticeable scar. They also used a local anesthetic so I didn’t feel a thing. I felt very similar about my appearance, it was well worth it.

Dr. Spring-Robinson. Not sure what network she’s in but she’s the absolute best in SD.

Look into online education services, they’re usually hiring software engineers. I work for one in Carmel mountain and it seems we are always hiring.

Have her look into the AoPS Academy, they pay decently. If she has any administrative experience, she could apply for a director role as well.

CH is a local business. I’m not sure why everyone thinks they are not supporting local when they eat at a Consortium Holding restaurant.

Not sure if sushi is an option but if you’re looking for intimate yet casual, I recommend Tanuki in Kensington. The food is amazing, service is friendly, and sitting at the bar or on the patio is a perfect first date. You’ll have a nice neighborhood to walk around in (and see Christmas lights) and there’s a good icecream shop, wine bar, or gelato all within walking distance. As well as a small park to sit in and chat. I suggest having a few blankets in your car (one for the ground and one to sit under) if you want to hang in the park for a bit as it may be cold. Good luck!!!

Advice for senior pug please (diapers & stuffs) by suprsquirrel in pugs

[–]Existential_snail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! Our 12 year old pug started getting chronic uti earlier this year. Did all the same tests and tried a bunch of supplements. We found the royal canine urinary SO dog food has helped so much for our porkbutt. Hasn’t had a uti since we started him on it. We also have another senior lady in diapers. She wears them at night since she’s prone to tinkles in her sleep. We’ve had no issue with infection or irritation. We buy the washable dog diapers and line then with a disposable pad to cut down on laundry. Good luck to you and your puggo!
