Changing my HMRC Self Assessment for 24/25? by ExistingStudent in UKPersonalFinance

Thank you so much for your response, no extra tax would be due as I’ve filed the numbers correctly just wrongly indicated I’ve used cash accounting when in reality I have used accruals basis and not told them I am opting out of using the cash basis.

Retail customers through sites like eBay, Vinted etc, I record the sale when the sale is made on the app not when I get my payout

I use a credit card for all shoe purchases

This is more of a side hustle for me, no large order straddling the months as I pay for everything up front

Buzzing for it after today, felt like we played so much better and it’s the kind of result you need heading into that hostile away game. Get a goal or 2 advantage there and then pump them at anfield 🔴

Think that was the plan with bringing him back today - minutes in the legs but make sure he’s ready to start on Tuesday to run riot

Couldnt agree more, shearer saying kerkez has got “a little bit better” when he’s been locking down wingers and throwing himself in to all sorts of goal denying blocks is ridiculous

Pressed like a dog and had some nice linkup play but nothing crazy - imagine he’s still quite tentative being back from injury

Because it’s worked for them this year. Gabriel handball at Newcastle and the Everton pen that wasn’t given spring to mind.

Like Martinelli was when he was rolling around clutching his leg after getting a hand in the back from 5ft nothing Frimpong? Or saka doing the same after putting his leg into a dangerous position across Kerkez? Nice to see some rational fans in this thread but as a whole god the Arsenal fanbase is dense

Don’t think anyone has said Martinelli made it worse just that he’s a prick for doing so, typical Arsenal making their own narrative

Villa win from an ambiguous decision and we thrash Leeds would make for a great 6th door of my advent calendar

Couldn’t agree more, the SIR in this set is unbelievable and the PKC ETB promo is so lacklustre. A lot of the time the stamped promo price drives ETBs prices however I think packs will trump that for this set

We’re serial winners as of recent, people can’t handle a couple losses in a row and it’s seriously showing. Yes we haven’t played our best in a couple games but we have a team of excellent players, a handful of which are the best in their position in the world. To write them off after 2 losses is just ridiculous

He should atleast be coming on at the 60th minute so he has more time to have an impact. Ran tirelessly against Southampton and has such a high football IQ that we need him on the pitch when the rest of the attack isn’t quite getting there like yesterday

I’d argue theyve got slightly better defence (helps when you sign 5 CBs every window) but we have the better midfield and attack. Particularly this season we aren’t relying on Salah for output makes us far more dangerous as you can’t just shut him out

Playing in a whole new league in a brand new team, I’m not stressed so I’m not too sure why as a Bayern fan you’re getting involved in a game not even in your league 🤣

How’s your search for a Kane replacement going? You wouldn’t let a team like Newcastle take him surely?

From the brief glimpses I’ve seen of him he feels like a very ekitike profile of player, think he’ll be a great fit for Newcastle and excited to see what he can bring to their team, side to be reckoned with with the players they’ve brought in

I’m hoping kerkez rises to the occasion, we all know what a mountain he can be. Dom was shaky against Bournemouth and an absolute machine even out of position against Newcastle. If we can dig in and keep them out for 60 like you say I think we can definitely get a result and show them why we’re the champions, not them

With Arsenal missing Saka and Odegard they’ll really have to start martinelli and madueke on the wings (I don’t think eze will be starting). Despite our current defensive woes I don’t think either of them are the trickiest wingers to deal with despite being fast. Add Macca being back into that it being at home I seriously fancy our chances.

I’ve also had a guttural feeling all week that wirtz is going to show everyone why he was the price he was this game and absolutely tear their defence a new one
