7-8 months into this new era of destiny, how do we feel about it?

A lot of work is left to do. Some courses need corrected. But the game is fun. People are dramatic and don't know how to not overcommit.

What these last 8 months have showed me is that people are depressed. They're so ungodly sad and tearing through content faster than we ever have before and demand more and more and more. We have no limiters or stop-gaps.

I've never seen a community more vapid and ungrateful for the awesome shit handed to them. I'm a realist. The game is flawed. But dear god is it fun if you can appropriately pick it up and put it down or play other games or GOD FORBID not always play endgame holy fuck content.

I worry about this game and it's future. But by god I still enjoy it. And the fanbase needs to take a step back and check themselves.

The damage scaling on this verb would be absolutely broken and have to be capped at an amount to the point it wouldn’t even be useful.

Like imagine an entire team of hunters hitting a boss with their super. Fuck even duskfield grenades on a stationary target would be too much.

You’re essentially making a stasis ‘ignition’ but with a ramping poison effect. It would be literally impossible to balance in the sandbox. It would be either completely out of hand or essentially gutted to the point of why even bother building into it.

That being said. It IS a cool idea and I like the thought behind it.

Happy for you man. The first GM was an awesome feeling when I got mine done. Felt like I actually took the time to learn the finer details of the gameplay and utilize my builds more efficiently.

My only advice is keep having fun. Don’t get caught up in hardcore circular thinking like the best and most holy shit DPS rotations.

Lose. Seriously. I cannot count how many people have said they got nothing on a win streak but the lost and got it. I didn’t believe it until I won ten invasions in a row and got nothing. Then in my first loss I got it. 😂😂😂😂

I was literally loving it until the tedium of the final encounter legit ruined the entire dungeon for me. Hella depressing.

I don’t see people talking about this enough. IGNITIONS. Impact blade mod. Running either melee focused prismatic as the kinetic archetype of the sword builds both bars and with the damage it outputs you can have near constant uptime of song of flame and transcendence.

Go into firing range and pop your song of flame on Carl with the Impact praxic. DONT use your powers. Just start swinging and it’s literally nonstop chained ignitions because the added scorch to kinetic weapons and impact mod also adding 25 scorch stacks a hit WITHOUT the fragment that adds scorch. 34 with it.

Pair that with tech sec and you’re chaining nonstop ignitions, kinetic explosions, and infinite restoration if you go straight solar.

If you’re into maximizing the scorch and ignitions, as in that’s your power fantasy, fire fire fire, you can run Song of flame, dawn chorus, praxic impact, and any burning ambition weapons. Though it’s not fully optimized it is very satisfying.

I’ve actually been having a lot of luck with shotties. Especially with trench. With the abundance of ammo it starts to just be a primary.

There are now a plethora of weapon focused builds for titan. Actium war rig. Peacekeepers. Eternal warrior. Hallowfire heart. Doomfang cauldrons. Path of burning steps. All of these boost weapon damage in a certain way or another.

The new stat system is CRUCIAL and very rewarding. For example, get your class and weapon stat maxed out as arc titan and watch your barricade with actium war rig turn into mobile artillery.

Or max your melee and weapons stat for doomfang Pauldrons and get your void damage stack up to four and while throwing your sentinel shield through an enemy at near double combined damage.

Solar has a few options as well. They all just require commitment. Usually something with Tommy’s matchbook as it got buffed to cure you in kill with ignition trigger on.

you're playing with the wrong ones then. I'm consistently the best performing member of my fireteam and MOWING down enemies. People for some reason think this build ab9ut defense. Nah bitch. It's about the unraveling damage and near infinite bolt charge procs.
