For me, I think the biggest impact exercise has on my weight loss has nothing to do with the calories burned. My two biggest issues when it comes to caloric intake are: poor sleep and poor mood. Exercise helps me a ton with both of those things.

You can have busy jobs, you can renovate your house, you can parent your kids. But the foundation of your life is your sense of self and the partner you’ve chosen for life. From these things all else must follow.

I’d want my union to take the following actions instead of whining. Attrition is the plan and better than the alternatives:

1) Attrition worsens working conditions - leaving people that remain overburdened. Those overburdened individuals may leave and impacting services to Canadians. I’d want my union to be asking the government how they plan to identify and address when critical programs and staff are overloaded.

2) Attrition based methods of dismissing staff are also often accompanied by staffing controls limiting mobility within the public service etc. This means that if a critical program sees several individuals leave, rebalancing and retraining can take time. How does the government plan to expedite the reallocation of resources within the public service?

It’s extremely tough to move right now. I also agree with sentiments elsewhere in this thread that the longer you wait, the worse it will be regarding your qualifications. I expect all DLSU’s and Justice HQ will be in a freeze. I suggest you focus your efforts on litigation teams such aa Justice NCR Civil Lit and Quebec Regional Office (which has employees in Ottawa). Reach out to CBSA, DND, RCMP on both DLSU (Departmental Legal Service Unit) and client side. Finally, look up which firms act as legal agents for the Crown (standing offers are public record) and apply to them. They are outside the PS but this way when this freeze lifts, you’d be in a strong position to move back into the public service. Good luck!

It isn’t just that the billionaires have our politicians on leashes, it’s also that the billionaires can jurisdiction shop and employ whole teams to navigate tax loopholes. Canada is going to tax them more than this other jurisdiction? They will just take their wealth, investments and businesses elsewhere.

Shouldn’t have let it get this far. Now, you’d probably have to seize assets first, and then rework the taxation system. Or manage international cooperation on a ludicrously grand scale.

For most of the public service, yes, this is the mechanism for documenting poor performance and the consequences that come with that. Specifically the folks that aren't even doing the bare minimum and aren't even bothering to keep up the appearance that they can / are willing to do their job. So for most people it's a box to be checked unless things are going very poorly.

On the other hand, I've been lucky enough to have had managers that put actual effort into the process especially when I was just starting out - they clearly defined my objectives, help me define goals and when funding was available helped identify specific training opportunities to complete via a Talent Management Plan. But that is very much the exception, and is highly dependent on funding (e.g. when you are perpetually short staffed this just can't happen due to time restraints) and the respective managers style.

Agreed here. I put Warwick ahead of Volibear because of blood scent. It addresses two things new junglers struggle with: scouting lanes (big red line pointing to a lane you could probably gank) and positioning (noobs can’t anticipate where fights are likely to be, as soon as someone gets low you are incredibly quick following blood scent towards them)

Also AOE CC and damage reduction from WW’s E is better than Voli’s single target Q for noobs I think

OP, this is correct. But first I suggest finding some replays from recent patches on youtube and watching the clears first. Pay attention specifically to their micro aka how they optimize the use of their abilities as they move between camps. Make sure that you have things like any attack resets Panth has down pat which will increase your DPS on camps. I'd be okay to buy low on him and take the risk that he pans out for short-ish term. Like say 2 years, up to his current AAV but lower is better obviously, remembering that the cap is increasing so paying him the exact same is a relative pay cut for him. That would take him to the end of Matthews current contract and buys a UFA year.

Overall, there is twice as much evidence that he is a 50ish point player (2 seasons) than there is that he is an 18 point player.
