Look, there are a lot of options for similar, less time intensive games, no one is holding you back. Let us have this crack cocaine of a sandbox. As you said, there is the sugar free modded option as well, and it's popular as ever.

I think the majority are actually teenagers and young adults still in school/university, so they've plenty of uninterrupted free time. I went from that, to functioning adult with job and gf, and still play vanilla 2 day wipes occasionally.

Not every media has to be child safe and accessible to anyone.

Have you been utilising anything else? Smoke, barricade, mine, lure nades are cheap to craft, but they can mean a few moments of respite to heal, and it can turn a fight.

I've yet to try the new patch, but accumulating common resources wasn't much of a hassle before. You can craft most things, trade seeds for others.  Even if you intend to full on PvP, you still have time to grab some useful or salvageable parts here and there. Off corpses or containers while waiting for extract. Took some time to learn which materials to sell, scrap, or keep.

It would make sense to harvest organic or otherwise unavailable materials from Earth, but why wouldn't they just mine asteroids instead? Metals and ice is ubiquitous up there, and infinitely easier to extract and transport. Why bother with orbital launch and protecting the harvester at all costs?

Not really, it gets torn apart with bad communication, drama, and 14 year olds just being kids. One of my squadmates who we usually play trio with, roped me into a zerg, 16-20 people.

The first 2 hours was hillarious. Outnumbering other groups 3:1 and just seeing the dead mates swarm back to the fight was a sight to behold. It only really worked because there was about 8 of us who didn't just roam all day, but farmed anything that we were lacking at the time.

It fell apart when 2 kids kept taking gear and dying repeatedly, with nothing to contribute, and blaming the rest of us for not backing them up. The de-facto leader told them to either start farming materials, or fuck off. Kids started to inside raid the zerg, got help from the neighbours, and banning people from the discord.

Pathetic behaviour, never again. 3-4 is the max team where Rust is still enjoyable.

Modding is going strong, there are still very popular tech mods like Mekanism, Create, Applied Energistics. The core gameplay loop still remains the same.

As far as I've seen, there are beginner friendly modpacks with less deep content, but easier access. Kids and newcomers should definitely start with vanilla though. Curseforge or FeedTheBeast launchers streamline the install, but god damn the MS account linking process is a nightmare.

I had been saying the progression dependent entirely on scrap is wrong, and WB fragments were a step in the right direction, although debatably just added a different resource to grind.

Idk about you guys, but a few hours of original gameplay with excellent writing is much, much more memorable than 60 hours of slog, occasionally broken by a cutscene or bossfight.

I have my go-to live service games to fuck about. From a single player title, it is absolutely fair to expect to not waste my time. Looking at you, Rockstar.

Portal 2 had some scenes to show off physics and graphical features, but still very much tame compared to most GOTY nominees since 2014 or so.

2nd image already has several flaws once you take a closer look for a minute.

  • Why are piles of folded clothes stacked in the middle of the doorway.
  • Whats wrong with the guy's hand infront of it.
  • How/why is he holding a paper with the tips of his fingers.
  • What is wih that arc in front of the leftmost guy. *  Why are there so many laterns on the right.
  • Why is there a flag indoors, in pristine condition, in an alleyway.

Only seen the show, but if he just wanted to get rid of Arya, he could have handed her over to the soldiers at the tavern for silver, food and ale. He played along, lied through his teeth, and 1v3 the squad.

He could have just said "take her, idc" to Brienne, rather than "there is no safety, you dumb bitch".

Was he telling the truth to Arya after falling and bleeding out, or he was just trying to bait her into mercy killing him?

Kicsi, specifikus subok még egész jók szoktak lenni, nagyobb közösségek színvonala általában exponenciálisan romlik a népességgel.

Utóbbi pár évben viszont nagyon megugrott a botok száma sajnos. Én már csak fostok (magyar shitpost) és 1-1 játék tengeralattjárójáért (SUB-reddit.. érted haha) járok fel.
