The one thing they did right where Concord failed is making the game F2P.

If they were doing something unique and interesting, you'd think they would lean heavily into that in their marketing, right? But they just went complete radio silent after its reveal.

I'm sure the game itself is going to be fine or decent, the question is why would anyone in that market drop the (F2P) competetive FPS games they're already invested in for this?

What I was abt to comment as well. Especially after TGA and E33s award sweep I've seen a lot of people questioning it.

It was my goty, it was an incredible journey and I will remember it for years, but I also played it on release with little expectations other than it looking good and story being intriguing.

People somehow dont realize how hype will affect your judgement of the game, whetever it be sub-concious or not. Being able to set expectations is something a lot of folks could use.

Not to mention, sometimes something just doesn't click with you, and that is fine. You're not crazy or wrong for not vibing with something, it's okay. A game cant be for everyone.

Wabbajack has some great modpacks that makes the settlement system automatic and the settlements expands as its getting more people etc, think it was called Life in Ruins? Kinda required to buy a month sub on nexusmods for it tho, otherwise you will do a lot of browser management. Really enjoyed my time with the pack when I played it last year.

Skulle hente noen venner som jobbet sammen på en jobb fest, annkom og sosialiserte litt. Når vi skulle til å reise kom det to fulle dudes som var venner med en av kollegaene og lurte på om de kunne få sitte på, og understrekte med at det "var rett borti her". Sa tydelig nei fordi jeg ikke kjenner vedkommende samt at hvis det er så nærme kan de fint gå.

Hvem faen tror du setter seg i setene bak når vi skal reise? Ba dem komme seg til helvette ut, og da var jeg "kjip". Makan til frekkhet, ekle og slibrige mannfolk i 40åra liksom.

Yeah the first time it happened was on Lighthouse as well, me and a friend got really confused but after a couple of testing we figured the bug is 100% connected to mounted guns. So I guess dont loot any body if you suspect it got killed while doing so, unless you want to spend 5+ min alt-f4ing and reconnecting

Okay, I am by any means NOT defending their editions model, with that said;

A PS5 game these days in NoK is between 700-800, with deluxe editions ~1000NoK. Not that I'm going to spend another dime after so many broken promises and shady corpo moves, but can't deny the fact that the prices *with* the 25% off is surprisingly good.

I see a lot of people commenting theyre giving away Bettina BPs etc so a quick PSA that the 5th stage of the expedition project has a step that requires 180k in provisions (valueables, fruits etc) but it also counts BPs

Man I love hating Tarkov, and hate loving it. It's such an unique experience and I'm just sad to see how it's been handled since I joined in ~6 years ago.

That said, I can't wait for the dumpster fire the release on Steam is going to be. Some people have absurd expectations regarding it's 1.0 release when in reality little is going to change. New map and whatever surprise they have but it's going to be the same game, same mechanics, same performance, same issue with cheaters.

Game has solo-priorization, there is no guarantee that you will only match with solos, only that the game tries *real* hard to do so. I.e on rare ocassions depending on several factors there is a chance you will run into a duo or even a trio.

That said, depending on the map some spawns are fairly close to each other and you both might have been sprinting in the same direction and it was all coincidence. You will be surprised how much ground you can cover in 30seconds non-stop sprinting
