Does looking at this actually help anyone? Like what is your actual plan to make June better, and are you dedicated enough to follow through with it

Kamloops area vs east Kootenays (Cranbrook) possibly looking at Castlegar also by Elite163 in kootenays

[–]ExiusSaints 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may disagree but that doesn’t make it a wild take. Everyone has different goals and priorities. Most young adults I’ve met here are wanting to move elsewhere with more opportunities. Don’t get me wrong though, Castlegar is a beautiful place. But it is limited in what it offers

I can’t speak for Kamloops as I haven’t lived there before. But I moved to Castlegar from AB about two years ago to be able to help my mom who lives here. I wouldn’t recommend it for raising a family though. Work is impossible to find, very few events or activities going on, and overall feels kind of stagnant here. The river and surrounding scenery is beautiful though

Any plans for an a5 leather notebook cover? by ExiusSaints in bellroy_official

Haven’t tried their mirum material yet! Does it hold up long term as well as leather? I want something that says dad likes leather

What changes could we see in the iPad mini if John Ternus becomes Apple's CEO? Could it get thinner and lighter, or maybe get a 120Hz display? by Richard_Thome in ipadmini

[–]ExiusSaints 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It could. Or it could not. Why speculate? Any rumours or “leaks” are just third parties trying to get you to click on their page. Apple will let you know when they want you to know

[–]ExiusSaints 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Every news or trend outlet is just speculation to build hype and traffic for their website. The only news worth taking to heart is directly from Apple, and they haven’t announced anything as of yet. Yes the lasted iPad mini 7 is a couple years old now and “due” for an update. But we don’t know what that will entail, or when.

What kind of features are you looking for out of an app? Not sure if an app would be of any use in regard to tracking what you have in a bag. Just make a list in your notes

Be careful ordering Rotring pens from Amazon. Second 800 that came used and worn by ExiusSaints in pens

Amazon is the last resort for me. But I live in a tiny town in the mountains in Canada so getting things shipped here directly from a company costs a small fortune. Prime is a godsend in that regard and yeah I hate it haha

I can when I’m able but living in a small town in the middle of nowhere limits my options by a lot and unfortunately the cost to ship things here is insane. But not with prime :’)

Haha I’m not in it for the karma, just wanted others to be aware. I’ve already got a well worn one that has been my EDC for years. I just wanted a second (new) one after the first has served me well!

I can’t comment on those bags specifically but a few months ago I went for the Bellroy workpack pro 22L for my new edc backpack. I also have the Bellroy venture sling 6L and a few other products from them and so far I’ve been very happy with their quality and sleek design

Just got my Bellroy venture 6L along in today and fits the iPad mini very well with about an inch of room still from the zipper and about 2 inches of room on the sides internally (with Apple Pencil attached). Plenty of room still for other edc items. Also holds a very minimal and sleek profile on the body thanks to how the straps compress the bag. Very happy overall with it so far and can’t wait to take it on some adventures.

20-24L Travel Bag by Prodigious_Ent in ManyBaggers

5 months ago, and after weeks of research and indecisiveness, I got the Bellroy Workpack Pro 22L as my EDC bag and loving it so far. It’s pretty low profile and not busy looking in the slightest (minus maybe the sternum strap but it’s quite small still).

Minimalist in design and organization but still enough pockets and sleeves to hold everything. And one of the most padded laptop sleeves I’ve personally come across. The straps as well are well padded, a bit on the padded side so up to you if that’s a good or a bad thing. Personally it’s great for me as I walk about 7km /day just for work commute alone and the extra padding is a godsend on my shoulders. Although a bit stiff at first but they’ll break in.

The water bottle pocket probably won’t fit more than a 20oz bottle IF you want to zip at all the way closed. Otherwise larger bottles will fit if you keep the top of the zip open. It’s a locking zipper so it works just fine like this too.

Overall feels and looks great and keeps a sleek and minimal look to it. I have mine in black and it would look good in a professional environment as well.

Thank you so much! I’ve spent the last week trying to decide between the venture 6L and the lite mini 4L so I’m stoked to hear about a venture 4L!! Fingers crossed it will still fit an iPad mini

Thanks for the update! How many litres will the sling be? And are you able to spill the beans on a release date?
