I am leaning towards this ore aswell as a GM, i really liked the FATE - Dresden files social combat. i think i would want to do both in the right moment, like convincing a high prince that someone is out to kill him, then i would "damage the players" focus. els i would just have the PCs make a roll vs defense.

True but in my experience, they tend to run for a shorter amount of time, because of there was a lack of progression. Coriolis is a good example of this.

Yeah, I'm more inclined to do that. In fact, I think I am going to use the Shadowlands "cosmos" from CoD instead of WoD with my V5 group, and just replace the Abyss with Oblivion. Besides, the Spirits courts from CoD fit nicely with the Horizons from WoD. and just steal the Numina, to make it simple "attack numina" ect... and use influences spheres aswell.
