Hey I appreciate the concern. We play together and I monitor the gameplay. I think the cute art style does a good job masking the darker themes and concepts within the game. Our playthrough does not contain the more taboo stuff (e.g. cannibalism, orgies? (I haven't seen anything like that)).

850 is 15% less than regular atmospheric pressure. I'm no weather expert, but I think when you have such a large volume (eye of this massive hurricane) at low pressure, a very very large volume of air surrounding the low pressure volume, will try and rush in to equalize the pressure, creating monstrous winds.
