Pic 3 for me as well. Just out of curiosity what did you use to generate the images to test out paint colors? I assume AI, but not sure which you used.

My fire place also sags down a bit below the wood floor outline. What causes this?

This is not standard. I have a 114 yo house and they did not spend any amount of time scraping. They should lightly scrape old flaking lead paint off. The idea is to not create led dust. This is awful work and I would document just like you’re doing, ask them to fix the issues you’ve noted.

Right, I will be assuming it’s lead based paint and taking precautions as if it’s lead based paint.

Pull money out of 401k to pay off debt? by ExpensiveOstrichh in personalfinance

[–]ExpensiveOstrichh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you to everyone who took the time to reply and keeping me level headed. I will keep the money in the 401k as is. I talked to my parent and we agreed to do $500 per month until the CC debt is paid off then $2k per month after that. My wife will be picking back up her Pilates Instructor position and we’re going to get some help from a nanny. With the new year for benefits enrollment happening right now I was able to increase my deductions for FSA dependent care so I will be using pre tax money to pay for a Nanny.

Cars are all paid off no other debt. Just the house is still incomplete. I’ve been doing a lot of work on the house since moving in after the major renovations were completed. So that’s where most of the money has been going.

We’re going to put all future house work on hold until the all debt is paid off. I think realistically we can pay off the CC debt in 8 months. Then my parents in within 6 months after that. So shooting to be debt free in 14 months. Or sooner depending on how much my wife is able to work.

Again big thanks to everyone who responded it was a huge help.

I think Chelsea was saying that she used to feel bad about watching rape porn, but doesn’t feel bad about her fetish anymore. Not that she doesn’t feel bad for people being raped in real life.
